Asuka - video - sketchbook style

Hope you're in good health! Here is a video I recorded tonight, I wanted to try the old sketchbook style I posted up awhile ago using the watercolor look in Clip Studio - similar to what I did on the big Metal Gear Solid illustration from the beginning of this Patreon. This one was a lot of fun to work on, really enjoyed keeping everything pretty loose during the approach. I'll have another post up that includes the high res noseless Krillin with this high res Asuka.

I love seeing you work in real time, sped up/time lapse tutorials make me subconsciously think I need to work super fast, if that makes sense. In reality you work really calmly and deliberately, I really learn a lot from these. Thanks!

Hi Dave! I hope you're doing well. You mentioned the Watercolor look in the post details, but the brush name in the video appears to be different from the brushes I've seen you use in the past like カサG 細 and エッジ鉛筆. Of course, it's kind of small on the screen so maybe I'm just not seeing it correctly. I really appreciate your time and process videos so much!
