Chrono Trigger - Current Progress!

Hope you're good! This is the latest bit of progress I've made on the latest Chrono Trigger illustration - making decent progress, had to take a short break to wrap up some long running jobs - but I'm free now! I'm trying to mix a couple approaches in this one, I want to see if I can render out Lucca in grayscale and make the jump into color look a bit seamless, I'm hopeful it'll work out, we'll see! It's been a long time since I've rendered something in full grayscale and successfully brought it to a final color look that I actually liked. If I can swing it then I'll be very happy, gonna give it a good shot.
Thanks as always for your support! Gonna share the process of the straight fully rendered grayscale if it works out.
