Guts - high res + early access print + layered PSD
🕑 Added 2021-11-09 07:13:51 +0000 UTCHey!
Hope you're good! Been working on my inking style a lot lately, I wanted to share a piece I worked up recently - some Berserk fan art of Guts! I wanted to have a go at the detailed inks that Kentaro was famous for, I hope I scratched the surface of what he was able to produce.
If you'd like the high res, it's attached to this post - or if you'd rather - here is the link to the limited time discounted prints - these will be listed until the 19th of November.
Also, I attached the layered PSD file if you'd like a look into the process!
Thanks as always for your support!
Dave

Utterly badass, I think you honored Kentaro's style very well! Subbed to your Patreon just to get the file for this print, but I think I'll be sticking around after seeing your MGS and Bloodborne stuff

If anyone had tried to previously purchase an acrylic or canvas print and you were unable to, it was an issue with the site, inprnt has since fixed the issue and both are now available!

Mate, this is awesome. This'll be my next full-size poster to print out and put up next to FF6. This one sparks joy

Ordered one, looks so good Dave!

Okay, now the link is actually fixed - for some reason when I tried to edit the posts it kept reverting to the old links

This was done entirely in Photoshop aside from some light screen tones that are done in clip studio. The colors and everything after that are done in Photoshop as well

Probably not, I would have to use a different approach to get to a painterly level, I usually start with a more basic drawing when I know I'm going to end up with a painting

print link is fixed!

If you have time could you do a breakdown on this piece. i'm trying to get into this type of art style so a walkthrough of the process in photoshop would be awesome for everyone

This and the comic post are done in Clip Studio, and then painted in Photoshop? Or everything is made in PS? Awesome work as usual!

Woah, that pencil variant looks amazing! Are you planning to render it further?
