CONCEPT ART - F-Zero inspired character racer

Hope you're well! I wanted to share with you my concepts for the F-Zero inspired racer topic for the challenge we're currently doing through discord. This is just to toss out some initial ideas on where you can go with style and character - but feel free to take yours in any direction you like! I plan on elaborating on my designs a bit more and hopefully landing on something I like before the deadline(along with a vehicle design!)
I'll be leaning more into a themed racer with my next pass - this one was more to find the style I wanted to go with for the game - I went a bit more real on the inked rendering for the helmet girl and more cartoony on the other two guys. Also, I'm consider a driver/navigator angle to the game - having the co-pilot give you directions on the course like you see in Rally Car races, maybe the mechanic of the game could almost play like a rhythm based thing similar to Thumper utilizing the navigator. Might be cool if that is the disparity for the racers - you need to be huge or something to handle the vehicle and control it and the Navigator needs to be small to alleviate as much weight as possible.
Just some thoughts on where I might be headed for the next round!
Best of luck on your designs if you plan on participating!
Thanks as always for your support!
