Hey!
I hope you're well and hello to all the new patrons! Here is the first video covering a bit of my process for my Link piece that I posted last night. In this video I will briefly touch on techniques I'm using to workout the drawing while also telling mostly childhood stories where I relate most to Link, stories where I murder without remorse, just like Link.
Look forward to the next part of this video series coming soon! Hopefully by tomorrow!
All of the brushes I used for Clip Studio are attached to this post. The chalk brush I used to sketch the initial idea in Photoshop is a pretty plain chalk brush, but the one I used for this video in particular are available for free download here.
Thank you all so much for your support! I'm always happy that I'm able to create work I'd like to create for myself through the funding you give me and push myself to develop more as an artist, it's something I don't take for granted.

Would love to see an AKIRA piece in your style!

Regarding the resolution stuff, CLIP changes how things (halftones and some textures) look based on the pixel-to-inch ratio (dpi). The most noticeable of these situations is when adding halftone, where if you are at a very low res like 72, it will be very hard to get the dots to look like anything but shit.

Recently got on board here, and man, your Patreon vids absolutely take me back to watching Crimson Daggers back then. I love how everything you do from art to videos makes me feel nostalgic and riled up. haha

Yeah and me both about not understanding discord. I used to be with it but then they changed what it was and now what's it is new and scary to me.

I am learning to speak English, but, I just wanted to thank you for all the knowledge you share with us!

I would happily volunteer pictures of my horrible body in solidarity with a "stop being a monster" challenge for the discord. I think I need that kind of shame in my life.

Link to the Past was my fave growing up, probably still is! My sister and I used to play it and DKC a lot too. The instruction booklet had cool bits of art in there... I miss instruction booklets!

haha, that was me trying to figure out what language I can use to tell you what actually happened

The short pause accompanied by the 1000 yard stare after you said that your Zelda work will never see the light of day is pretty :(
