Chapter 77: Healed

I stretched before I opened the blinds, letting the morning shine through the window. I looked back at the disheveled bed and found the naked Raven's red skin glistering in the sun. Honestly, I was tempted to start another session just seeing this, but after resting the entire day yesterday while training the Titans, I was already completely healed. Well, not healed as I had healed already the night before, but more in the sense of healing my fatigue that came with our battle against Trigon.
The power in my body had accumulated, and the Zenkai had finally pushed my power to 4 times more than what it was before. It had been a shame that I wasn't able to train much after I had defeated Darkseid, so my strength increased little after that Zenkai.
Only now, after the battle with Trigon, I had a big jump in power again. If I had to guess my current power level in my base form, it should be around 600 million. Super Saiyan + Ikari, which was at maximum a 120x increase, would place me at 72 billion. In this universe, I could only leverage about 1 percent, which was 720 million.
Considering the power scale of this universe and if Darkseid and Trigon scaled to the same difference, they were in my universe, then I would guess Darkseid's maximum output to be around 260 thousand pl and Trigon at around 30 million to 40 million. The difference between them and the possible range was only that much because I had fought Trigon in his dimension and I couldn't sense his magic that well, but that was my best guess at this time.
Perhaps the difference was even more, but either way, they should be no match for me. Even if I miscalculated and they were 10 times stronger, I still could defeat them. I could probably handle Trigon if he was just 25 times stronger than I estimated, but if he was above that, it would be difficult to beat him just on my own. Although my power fluctuated with ki attacks and power-ups, it was still a good benchmark to measure my chances against an opponent.
Of course, it was under the presupposition that I could easily use the combination of Super Saiyan and Ikari. Even though the increase was notable, the risk and strain were just as high as well. It was something I could only use for a few minutes before my body just gave in. Obviously, even 5 minutes were enough to decide the outcome of a fight, but I wasn't taking any risks with Trigon.
My thoughts churned about what to do next. I couldn't just increase my base by several hundred million in just a few days to make a significant difference. At least, I couldn't without my time-slowing device, which would hardly suffice, not if the time was only slowed by 10 times. I truly needed a Hyperbolic Time Chamber to get a substantial increase, doing a year's training in a day.
Could I try to master Super Saiyan? But to do that in just a few days? I am currently barely able to boost my Super Saiyan power to 60x and I could feel that there was a lot more to gain out of that transformation. Master Super Saiyan should be around 100x and I am nowhere close. It had already taken me several days to get to that point. It just wasn't likely to master Super Saiyan in a short period.
What else was there, my techniques? I could punch higher with that, but deciding which technique I should go with and then train them to make a significant increase to help in battle wasn't done in a few days. That shit took weeks to months or even years. In the same vein, creating new techniques would be a waste of focus and effort.
If I could fully adapt to this universe's suppression, then I would have no problem eliminating Trigon with a wave of my hand. It was likely that the incoming fight will be as difficult as the one before, though that possibility didn't scare me. Quite the opposite. My blood was boiling. I couldn't help but clench my hand into a fist-

We stepped into their training hall and Blue Beetle went to the hard light control panel to activate the 8 opponents that they had fought against the previous days, but I stopped him. "Today's training will be different. We don't need that."
I said before I closed my eyes and found my perception shifting in four different directions. After opening my eyes again, a body appeared in front of me, while two were at my side and one was behind me. They were an extension of me and unfortunately, only one was truly autonomous. The others were still actively controlled by me.
The Titans were shocked at my display of multiplying my body and were about to release a string of questions, so I held up my hand and explained, "These are clones I created with ki, the energy I use to practically do anything, really." Didn't really need to tell them about my psychic powers even if I had been beating them up with them. Didn't really need to explain to them everything about my powers, did I?
"They usually would possess a percentage of my power, but I have regulated them to be just above Starfire's level of strength. First, we will do some individual sparring before we increase the number of opponents you face. If you can face 4 of them at the same time, I don't think any random demon could harm you any longer."
"So, we can finally beat you up, huh? Dude, I will trash your clones!" Beast Boy said before turning into a lion and roaring at me and my clones.
I couldn't help but chuckle. "Seems like you want to go first. Ah. One more thing, the fingertips, and the toes as well as their tail will cut you up instantly." After finishing the fingertips of my clones, the tip of their shoes and the entire tail were enveloped by bluish ki, showing the danger zones.
It was just to get them to be used to fight against creatures with claws and sharp tails. Although I had practically just blasted the demons when fighting them in Trigon's realm, I still noticed that most of them had some vicious and sharp claws, teeth, and other sharp bones sticking out of their skin.
Considering the fact that I was a lot more skilled than your average demon in terms of melee combat, they would be more than prepared to deal with some feral demons after their training.
I divided my attention between them as they each fought one clone, while most of my attention was on the clone that was practically autonomous, trying to figure out its weaknesses, strength, degree of ki control, any ki leakage of his body, psychic powers, etc. Things that I would to fix. Of course, the most important thing will be when he disappeared.

After all, if he decided to invade with an army, they would need to save their energy to combat it. No matter what. However, that wasn't too important to me right now. I looked at the autonomous clone.

He was right. This one was like the one before, autonomous. It was rather simple. I had focused too much on the shape and form, and how the ki flowed through my body to replicate it in a clone that I completely forgot about the nature of ki.
My ki even in the base had some intent or some representation of myself attributed to it. It was similar to how Super Saiyan and Ikari were a lot more violent compared to my normal ki. It was also the reason my clones couldn't transform on their own until they gained autonomy.
'Transform.' I mentally conveyed to other me and he did as I commanded without much sass. His ki grew and like a tornado swirling around his feet, it rose to cover him until the erratic energy calmed to give him the familiar visible aura any being with high ki output possessed. Seeing and feeling this felt strange. At this moment, he was stronger than I and could probably beat me to a pulp if I didn't disperse him.
'Use telekinesis.' I asked, and he just stood there for a moment frowning at the piece of broken floor that he probably was trying to lift. Good. Normally, even my clones could use telekinesis and telepathy, but now I had paid special attention to separating the psychic energy from my ki when creating this one.
Before I had done so subconsciously since I had just copied what Billy Numerous had done with his ability, but now I was trying to dissect it and wanted to exclude any interference. After playing around for several minutes of dispersing and recreating my clone, the Titans had recovered enough to prop themselves up.
I looked over to Raven and found Raven-2 almost exhausted again. It wouldn't be long until they were done with their training as well. Knowing that I still had some time, I refocused on creating a clone, but this time without ki and a lot of psychic energy. The moment I forced my psychic energy to form a clone with a specific intent and externalized it into a human form, my mind was cut in half.
It wasn't like having two thoughts simultaneously or a split personality all of the sudden, but I felt my mind drain and more fatigue than before. It wasn't unlike the simple reduction of ki reserves and the feeling of weakness after using my ki to form a clone, but it also wasn't the same either.
The figure was illusionary. Only a blurry human shape in the empty space in front of me. I made it move around and use its abilities to lift some rubble and reach out telepathically to the Titans. During that time, I felt the difference in maintaining that shape before I dispersed it again. After the energy returned, I had to close my eyes for just a moment as I felt how the psychic energy changed after being separated for the moment just now.
I was on the right track. Now I only had to turn the changes into something more tangible, like concrete memories, and then combine everything to a flawless [Multiform] technique that I could use to learn new techniques with Shadow Jutsu style. It wouldn't take much at this point. Perhaps only two days' worth of training.
Just as I was about to initiate the next step, I was interrupted by Raven-2 falling on her butt, as she could not maintain herself floating above the ground. I guessed I would have to save it for tomorrow.
"You good?" I asked as I approached the two. Raven looked at me with a wry smile.
"She is making progress fast." She prefaced before looking at the other Raven, "I am not sure if it will be enough once Trigon attacks in a couple of days or even weeks. We probably need months if she wants to deal with him on her own." There was just no way around it. Too little time to prepare them.
"Well, she doesn't need to face him alone," I said to the downcast Raven-2.
"He is right! We are in this together." Starfire responded, determined, but also comforting as she stood up after seeing that they too had finished their training.
"Yeah! We are going to kick Trigon's butt!" Beast Boy shouted before hissing at the pain that assaulted him after he had punched the air.
"Alright. It's a wrap for today. Let's get ready for the carnival and then head out." I said to the others, making them cheer enthusiastically before we left the training hall. Raven took my hand into hers and followed the eager Titans up the tower again.
Raven-2 looked at us, clearly hesitating for a moment before deciding to speak up. "Where did you two meet, anyway?" She asked and the question clearly interested Starfire as well as she lowered her walking speed to be in earshot, while the two boys walked ahead unbeknownst to the conversation we had.
"She reached out to the Justice League, but after a demon attack, they were hostile to her approach. I was the only one willing to help her out and offered her a place to call home." Raven squeezed my hand appreciatively when I answered. I looked over and smiled at her, which caused her to blush slightly and look away shyly, though not before returning the smile.
"Oh, you two are living together? On Tamaran, that would be a topic for gossip, though I would also move in with Di- Nightwing..." Starfire asked before musing out loud.
"Yes, we have been living together for a while now. It's cozy to have her around. With Kara around as well, the house had been lively compared to when I lived alone."
"Kara?" Starfire tilted her head questioning.
I nodded at that. "Yes, my other girlfriend. She is also known as Supergirl, cousin to Superman." My answer seemed to surprise her as she looked at me with questions. Raven-2 was shocked as well before her eyes shot toward Raven, who was unbothered by the shock, though her face donned a slight smile.
Seeing their expression, I couldn't help but add to it. "It's a bit complicated and we three aren't official for long. It was Kara who had played the matchmaker between us for a while now before we got together a few days ago."
"You fine with that?" Raven-2 asked Raven.
My Raven chuckled slightly, "Oh, I am more than fine with it. I am very fortunate." Her answer made the younger version of her look at her weirdly before she shook her head, clearly trying not to think about it anymore.
"2 women?" Starfire held her chin. "Nightwing is barely keeping up with me and that mostly with technique. You must be exceptionally proficient at having sex." I couldn't help but laugh out loud at her blunt statement.
"Well, I can't really speak for them, but as a Saiyan, I have some pretty good endurance. At least, they had never complained or outlasted me. Sometimes I wonder if my endurance is too great." I said with a chuckle as we continued to head up the stairs.
"We will see how you fare when Kara and I double-team against you," Raven said with a smirk, which I returned in kind.
"I am all game."
"Urgh. Go get a room." Raven-2 said before flying ahead.
"We will. Just don't come knocking again!" I shouted after her, which caused Raven to playfully slap my arm.
"Don't tease her. She is a teenager. Of course, she is going to be curious."
"I am not curious!" Raven-2 shouted from the distance before she slammed the door to the next floor.

I held Raven's hand as we walked through the carnival. Currently, I was sensing around for a demon to pop its head into the open to attack us, but until now nothing happened, so I tried to enjoy the carnival instead.
I looked over at Raven, who was looking around with wonders in her eyes. Perhaps because she hadn't been to one yet? There were some in Portland, but a lot of things had kept us busy, so we hadn't gone to one until now. Either way, she looked quite happy and relaxed, even with the imminent arrival of this universe's Trigon. Perhaps it's the confidence of having been able to defeat him once that she wasn't scared of him anymore.
She was wearing a casual dark blue dress, which went half down to her knees, and a black jacket over her shoulders, which was unsurprisingly similar to what Raven-2 wore. We minded our business, but we still attracted some attention because of her light red skin and probably her white - now a more gray - hair. There were some men that were gawking at her, but some intimidation on my part was enough to send them away, and if it hadn't, telekinesis did its thing.
Although we attracted some attention, it seemed like her unique appearance wasn't too out there. Beast Boy was running around as well, though he hid his features better with a cap and long clothes. And, like usual, most ignored the tail around my waist, probably thinking of it as a belt.
We went out and played some games like fishing ducks out of a pool, throwing rings over some bottles, or throwing over some cans with a tennis ball. It was pretty basic stuff, but Raven enjoyed herself tremendously. The others were having fun as well.
I probably had the most fun by spending Justice League money at every station to buy myself some food. There were so many sweets and snacks at each stand. I was practically never without something in my hands, especially the roasted almonds they sold here.
They were pretty good, and I enjoyed sharing them with Raven, who was quite surprised that I would share my food with her. It was honestly quite romantic when we were on the Ferris wheel, feeding her with my mouth before enjoying the view. Or course, we had better views before. After all, we both could fly, but the vibe was different.
We snuggled together when I felt the chilly wind at the top. Her hands roamed my body as did mine, but we started nothing since we knew we wouldn't have enough time until we were seen by the people down below, though we made out quite a lot.
