🕑 Added 2022-11-27 20:43:34 +0000 UTCSome of you may not be aware but some big companies are pressuring Pixiv to change their terms of use, and trey'll possibly ban a lot of artists like tumblr and Patreon did in the past, I'm trying to find out what's really is going on but I'm feeling the ban coming for me soon.

Lots of Western woke pressure on Japan at the moment. Vice just did a hit piece on how Japan is full of pedos 'cause Japan makes "problematic" content. Akamatsu-sensei (Negima!, Love Hina, UQ Holder) ran for political office in Japan to try to stop this woke rubbish (and more).

Why do execs give a crap? They would make more money with artists producing that stuff on the website. Hope it results in rules that are at least easy to skirt around.
They made a very vague statement, I'm still looking for more sources and trying to understand what's really going to happen.

The rumor is that the new rules will only affect RL content, not fiction. I can only wait and hope.
A common date I keep seeing is December 14th, the ban is concerning gore-related topics from what I understand though.
