"It seems this kid's progress and strength are far beyond what I imagined. There's nothing to worry about. Next, he should be able to knock down the rest of the fighters one by one~?"
Just as Bisky thought, this match marked the beginning of a new legend in Heavens Arena.
For the next eight days, Ronnel continued to deliver impressive performances, winning each of his seven remaining group matches with a single blow.
Finally, after finishing all ten fights and winning them all, Ronnel naturally earned the qualification to challenge the Floor Master.
According to the regulations, Ronnel negotiated with the Floor Master stationed on the 220th floor, and the date for their duel was set for March 31st.
So, on the eve of the Battle Olympia, the Floor Master Challenge stirred up the excitement once again.
This thrilled the passionate fighting fans who had gathered in Heavens Arena long ago, eagerly awaiting the upcoming conference.
Floor Master Challenge!
It was the perfect warm-up before the big event, giving fans something to whet their appetite!
It was as if a group of travelers in the desert had suddenly found a spring of fresh water!
The sense of excitement and anticipation~
Countless fight enthusiasts looked forward to March 31st with bated breath.
The officials at Heavens Arena were equally excited, seeing this as an opportunity to promote the upcoming tournament.
Regardless of who won, Heavens Arena wouldn't lose out.
If the original Floor Master won, it would only fan the flames, showcasing the Floor Master's power to the world, and drawing even more attention to the tournament.
But if Ronnel were to win, it would be even better.
A fighter who had risen from the first floor to the 200th within a year, defeating seven opponents in just eight days, and winning each match with a single move!
Such a record and meteoric rise were selling points on their own!
In fact, Ronnel's story might even be more compelling than the original Floor Master's, and Heavens Arena was secretly rooting for him to win.
People always love a good underdog story, the rise of the unexpected hero—something they could relate to.
So, if Ronnel, a newly promoted fighter, challenged a seasoned Floor Master who had been a legend for years, the audience would certainly rally behind the former.
If Ronnel won and became the new Floor Master at such a critical moment, it would be the perfect headline, sparking unprecedented buzz!
Just how much buzz? The level of discussion would represent the controversy of the match, and in turn, drive up ratings and attention!!
A dark horse rising, challenging the established, would give Ronnel a high approval rating.
And by dethroning a Floor Master at this point, other Floor Masters would surely take the tournament more seriously, leading to even more thrilling matches, attracting a larger audience!
It would create a perfect cycle!!
The benefits of Ronnel's victory would be far more valuable than if the current Floor Master won!
Of course, as a sacred place for combat, Heavens Arena would never allow any shady practices.
At most, they would use every opportunity to build hype around Ronnel, while subtly putting pressure on the current Floor Master.
As a direct result, tickets for the Floor Master Challenge skyrocketed to ridiculous prices!
After all, scalpers exist in every world.
And so, with countless people eagerly awaiting, March 31st finally arrived.
"Master, why don't we head to the arena to cheer for Ronnel today?"
In a luxurious room, four people—Wing, Zushi, Bisky, and Shizuku—gathered in front of the TV. Wing adjusted his glasses and asked, slightly puzzled.
"The Floor Master's strength... I've seen his videos. His power isn't even on the same level as Hankloda or Thatcher from a few months ago. There's really no need to go."
Bisky held Shizuku with one arm, leaning her chin on her other hand, and replied without turning her head.
"If we go, we'd be back in less than two minutes. Watching from the TV is just as good, and you know how expensive those scalper tickets are. If I'm going to waste money, I'd rather spend it on gems!"
Wing: "..."
Well, Bisky wasn't wrong, and Wing couldn't argue, so he turned his head and continued watching the TV alongside Zushi.
Television programs have long been a favorite form of entertainment for humans. However, most shows—whether dramas or variety shows—struggle to maintain popularity for long. One show, though, is an exception.
The live broadcasts of the fights in Heavens Arena!
Just then, a fierce roar erupted from the TV. It was Ronnel and the Floor Master stepping into the ring, while the commentator on the platform passionately recounted their achievements.
Once the fighters were ready, the referee announced the start of the match.
In front of the TV, Wing saw only a blur of Ronnel's movements, his eyes struggling to keep up. Bisky's calm voice broke through the scene:
"Look, it's over again."
Her tone was so nonchalant, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
