050 HxH: Tombbound Power
🕑 Added 2024-10-06 10:48:09 +0000 UTCDuring this period of time, Ronnel had been following Bisky closely, receiving her strict training and guidance. Finally, two days ago, he managed to fully digest the powerful energy within his body and integrate it as part of his own strength.
The current Ronnel appeared to be around seventeen or eighteen years old, but his sharpness was now hidden. He no longer exhibited the aggressive energy typical of a young man.
If the previous Ronnel was like a rushing river, now he resembled a calm sea.
It appeared peaceful, but once the storm came, the unleashed waves would be powerful enough to shatter everything in their path.
In the past two months, Ronnel had done nothing but train. Even the 90-day battle preparation period for Heavens Arena was fast approaching.
The deadline was the day after tomorrow, and after realizing this, Bisky stopped Ronnel's training.
"I want you to become the Floor Master before this year's Battle Olympia and win the championship. If not, don't recognize me as your master!" she said.
According to Bisky, Ronnel's current strength had already surpassed Wing's, and he was undoubtedly a top-tier Nen user. His abilities, willpower, and mind were all finely honed with no glaring flaws. If he couldn't secure a good result, it would mean that Bisky had been polishing a false gem for the past six months.
This was the challenge Bisky had set for Ronnel to prove himself. As long as he accomplished it, he would officially be considered her student. The world might not bow before him, but he would certainly be able to navigate it with ease.
Ronnel naturally agreed to the challenge with enthusiasm.
It was almost laughable—if Zushi could become a Floor Master, there was no reason Ronnel couldn't win the championship.
Of course, this wasn't to look down on Zushi, but rather to highlight the somewhat diminished prestige of the Battle Olympia. In the world of Nen users, it didn't attract the true top-tier fighters.
With Uvogin's character, if he had known there was such a place to challenge strong opponents, he would have shown up long ago. Perhaps he had, but left disappointed by the level of competition.
In any case, winning the championship was no problem for Ronnel.
After wrapping up his training, Ronnel submitted his application for the battles. His next fight would be tomorrow.
It was now March 19th, with 27 days left until the opening of theBattle Olympia on April 15th. However, because Heavens Arena needed to promote and build hype for the Floor Masters participating in the competition, the Floor Master challenge would be suspended for all of April, resuming in May.
In other words, Ronnel had 12 days, until the end of March, to complete the remaining eight group battles. He needed to win all of them to qualify for the Floor Master challenge.
Nine battles in 12 days, including the Floor Master fight, all of which had to be victories.
For most Nen users, this would be an impossible task. But for Ronnel, it was simply a minor inconvenience.
Such was the confidence that came with his newfound strength.
Setting down the mirror in his hand, Ronnel resumed his meditation, fine-tuning his Nen in preparation for tomorrow's fight.
Shizuku had already been dragged out by Bisky for a shopping spree, under the pretense of not disturbing Ronnel. Of course, they promised to come back and cheer him on during the fight.
The next day, on the 220th floor of Heavens Arena, the place was buzzing with excitement.
When Ronnel arrived at the venue, the atmosphere reached a fever pitch.
Despite the long gaps between Ronnel's matches, his popularity had only grown. In fact, many Nen users were reluctant to challenge the Floor Masters during this time, fearing that if they participated in the Battle Olympia and lost, it would be humiliating.
Instead, they waited until after the conference, when the Floor Masters would be at their weakest, both physically and mentally.
Ronnel's sudden decision to challenge the Floor Masters during this period naturally drew a large crowd of curious spectators.
Standing in the center of the arena, wearing his signature black trench coat, Ronnel ignored the cheers surrounding him.
But when he heard a familiar voice calling out, he turned and smiled.
"Don't lose, you brat!"
Ah, his master never failed to make him laugh.
In addition to Bisky, Shizuku, Wing, and Zushi were also seated together in the audience.
As Ronnel waved to Shizuku, on the opposite side of the arena~
"Hmph, how ridiculous for a mere monkey to come out and seek fame and fortune while the real tigers are still hiding in the mountains."
His red-haired opponent sneered, glaring at Ronnel with disdain.
Hearing this, Ronnel glanced over and noticed the red hair standing out. The opponent was wearing a standard training uniform with two large characters printed prominently on the side: "Subai."
Ah, another disciple of Subai.
