(I think its probably because i changed to a new programming language)

Hey Elsa, it is not the programming you used. The problem is that when you changed the name of the zip file, like nudist school to nudist college or nudist Olivia to Olivia adventures. Using two different names, the files are extracted to different folders, so any saves saved in, say, the nudist school folder, will not show up in the nudist college folder since they are two different folders. I use WinRAR, not WinZip, and WinRAR asks where I want to extract the files to, and I pick the folder that I have been using, nudist school or nuudist Olivia, instead of the folder nudist college or Olivia adventure that the zip file wants to make. So I have all my saves from previous updates since everything is in the same folder.
