for mixing i typically like to keep the low mids just as prominent as the bass and sub and the drums are typically more in the background. i typically use no compression at all because orchestral instruments need as much dynamics as possible. i’m more keen to use limiting on the master here cuz transients aren’t that important

i would if the opportunity shows up! i had a couple interests. And still brainstorming on names and whether or not it’ll be a band like dynamic with a vocalist

Cool, really dig this actually. Question - how do you handle your mixing and mastering for something like this vs. your electronic stuff? Do you use mostly the same processes or do you treat the cinematic stuff differently?
