make sure they don't get too hot. They become extremely agitated if they're at or above like 90°f and can't get out of the heat

I have caught many bull snakes in the wild and it is wild! I was not allowed to own snakes - the husband said no to very few things so ... I settled for Tokay geckos. I know right? But if I get one now it would probably be a bull snake. Or a king.

It might be too late but it might be good to explain very briefly what is a glotus. I know that best pet videos don't perform so well so it might give a little bit more insight to newbies (which I was not so long ago!) hence maybe get more viewers! Just my little 2 cents, I absolutely love all of your videos

even the ones that remain hissy and strikey just need a few minutes to chill out and will just go back to some rattling or softer hissing. Some times with bull snakes and gopher snakes more broadly you can get a really dramatic snake that will remain dramatic but even then they probably won't bite you and can be handled without bothering the snake all that much

They're really dramatic but they cool off really quick even with almost no handling. My boy just watched in my living room from his cage for a month and totally chilled out during handling just from understanding I'm a weird part of the environment

the pet store that i work at has several extremely charismatic bull snakes. Our oldest, Hissy Eliot, got her name for how vocal she is which unfortunately has deterred a lot of beginner/intermediate keepers from taking a closer look a bull snakes. But seriously, we have had babies and juveniles that will come up to the doors of their enclosures to be handled. I'm definitely going to send people who are looking for more about bull snakes to this video once it drops publicly!
