Giants: Citizen Kabuto is a cult classic. It has great humor and amazing ideas for the time. It felt that you guys just judged the book by the cover. You should play it and see how much it can do.

Oh wow, the pin thing sucks. I collect figures, artwork and pins and while I don't follow Nintendo merch, I know how much it sucks to deal with scalpers capitalizing on these ridiculously limited editions. Most people just want a nice thing and the artificial scarcity doesn't add any value for them, it just makes getting the thing harder. A videogame autobiography sounds really interesting. I've been watching gaming related content on youtube for a long time and it's cool to see people's childhood games get closer and closer to mine (I grew up in the 2000s playing DS and PC games—and free browser games of course). It's fun to see how the genres and mechanics I took for granted evolved and, looking back, how the games I used to play hold up under the same critical lense today.
