As much as I love kao, I don't get why he walks. I mean why does he ran? Probably because it is easier to design the controls. But kangaroo controls are super fun honestly. What I really want is a first person shooter with kangaroo controls. I made a concept controls in unity and it got really fun really soon, not much polish needed. Still kao is dann cute and I like that they are still working on that IP.

I’ve really enjoyed my time with many of the Sony 3rd person action adventure story -driven games. The Last of Us Part II is actually my favorite game of all-time. I do think the genre of 3rd person action adventure is saturated at this point, but I think it’s complicated, because some people don’t necessarily have the time to “get good” at a mechanically sophisticated indie platformer, but at the same time, the 3rd person action adventure games (many of which I love) are only getting longer and longer. It’s a strange situation the industry is in.
