i know as a kid loud noises really freaked me out n id have nightmares about like goin into a room and theres this loud ass machine goin off, i think in my case it was just like the ol auditory overstimulation you get when yr on the autism spectrum but idk. loud noises suck they should just b quiet lol

Just finished watching the podcast (mostly) and just cause it was brought up, if you want to play a horror game that has both a docks level *and* a grocery store level, In Sound Mind has both of those. First level takes you to a recreation of a grocery store, and the second level a recreation of like a beach/cliffside area with a light house. It's an FPS so it's not as scary as it could be but I enjoyed what I played.

Idk if this was the episode where you dudes talked about not watching anime but I feel the same way. It's mostly the shounen anime that tends to be aimed at teens that just feels samey I feel. The more you avoid those products, the more you'll find more unique experiences, cause it is still a piece of media like movies all things considered.

I think darksouls combat is defiantly about strategy and managing stamina and i guess battle field awareness, where a lot of the good beat em ups like bayonetta or dmc are about options style and self expression through combat. bayo in particular is a great example cuz enemy engagement can literally become a dance esspecially with the combos options and exploits.
