- Camera Direction: Camera pans in through the window of the childrens bedroom, sophia on her bed getting tucked in by gma spicer.
- Gma: Come on dearies, its time for bed. Youve had a long day.
- Camera focuses in on interaction, Follow Gma as she begins to leave out the door. Catch sophias silhouetted head as she asks Gma for a story.
- Sophia: Granma?
- Gma stops and turns to address Sophia.
- Gma: Yes dear?
- Sophia: Can you read us a story?
- Gma: sighs Of course dear.
- She turns around, pulls up her chair and reaches for an old bookshelf.
- Gma: Now, which story should we read tonight?
- Camera follows her hand as she moves across book spines towards a book. Her finger pulls back as the children devolve into chaos behind her.
- Sophia: swoons I wanna hear about Ephrina again, shes so beautiful...
- Tristan: with disgust Ugh! Thats so girly. I wanna hear a new story Grandma. A grown up story.
- Gma: A grown up story huh?
- Sophia: Were not grown-ups Tristan.
- Tristan: I am! Shut up!
- Sophia: You shut up!
- Tristan: No you!
- Camera focuses on Gmas face as she addresses the children. Commanding at first, then curious.
- Gma: loudly Children! The children go quiet Tell me Tristan, what kind of grown up story do you want to hear?
- Tristan: I wanna hear about the Demon Queens.
- Sophia: Queens?
- Gma: curious Where did you hear about them?
- Tristan: quietly Around
- Sophia sits on her bed, her large eyes filled with curiosity, shadowed by the form of Gma (camera facing window)
- Sophia: excited I wanna hear about the leemon queens...
- Creeping Zoom on Gma Spicer and her expression as she explains the story being frightening. Fade to black as she begins the story proper.
- Gma: Demon Queens, dear. And its quite the terrifying tale. Are you sure you two are ready to hear it?
- Tristan & Sophia: Uh-huh!
- Tristan: Were not babies anymore Gandma.
- Gma: Is that so? Very well then
- Camera Re-emerges from the fade into a grey blue fog on the rolling sea, Opalent ship emerges from it, with people busy on board transporting cargo.
- Gma: Long ago, during an age of prosperity, the people of Murthalos found themselves facing a danger unlike anything theyd ever known before.
- Ship moves past camera, giving the view of the crew going about their clearly innocent work on deck
- Camera follows ships ass as it dips into another fog bank. Quiet.
- Camera above the ship again able to see the oncoming mass through the fog, Then sudden hydra attack heads exploding through the ship and devouring and destroying deck (potential camera change for a better view of the disaster, moving closer to rusalkas ship)
- Gma: They struck without warning. A nation of pirates and thieves from the east. And at their head?
- Camera pans over Rusalka, at the bow of the ship conductings the waves and destruction like an orchestra (potential que in for orchestral music to add to the visual themes).
- Gma: Rusalka. Daughter of Hydra and Demon Queen of the Sea. The beasts of the deep were bound to her service, and she used them to swallow entire ships of innocent sailors whole.
- Pan from the fog of the shipwreck to the bay of Murthalos. On the docks is a commotion, soldiers on the streets
- Gma: It was chaos.
- Camera trains over soldiers helping injured men out of halfway destroyed ships
- Camera shows the hospital with alessandra assisting a patient and men bagging up potions
- Gma: Yet Murthalos stood strong, and everyone did their part.
- Camera moves up the docks to the beginning of one of the main roads soldiers hiking into the main city, heavily armed and carrying shit
- Pan up to a tower, where we enter a room of military strategy, fatima leaning over a table. Maps and pawns dot the table, as well as the silhouettes of her officers.
- We show PAWNS showing YuShen ships making landfall and taking the coasts. Camera moving facing down on the map, so the map looks 2 dimensional but alive with the path of the murthalien warships and Yushen estimated Path
- Gma: The Corsair Nation desired a land of its own, and was willing to pillage and burn to take it.
- Zoom in to Renquist.
- Transition from PAWN of the ship to the ACTUAL ship making landfall (basically render the ship with an after effects bleed in to make it looks like the map pawn is becoming a real ship in real water)
- Camera in town facing the water, the ship emerging from the fog and the forms of yushen raiders flooding the banks with torches in hand.
- Children and woman running, you know the drill. Thatch roof cottages burn. Camera Pans over the destruction being wrought, basically. Somewhat topdown angle or pan shot through the street at eye level.
- Gma: The people of Vinnterra stood little chance against such a monstrous horde.
- Camera focuses on Rusalkas movement as she strides through the center of town, face alight with the flames showing her smug, triumphant expression. (potential zoom in for further effect?)
- Camera rotates to show off the hydras being dicks in the distance, eating people, and the arrow shoots through the beast, breaking Rusalkas smile.
- Gma: Yet they did not stand alone.
- Camera spins around to Rusalka looking for the source and catches the shots ripping through her docked ships
- Camera now focused in on the Legionnaires upon the horizon, (lady archer at the head knocking another arrow). Visual holy lighting effects, bullshit if needed
- Camera now oriented over the charge of Murthalen troops breaking the line of Yushen raiders and Hydras
- Good olde camera pan over the various combat settings, some dude stabbing a hydra, some dude slapn faces with his shield. Combat stuff. Alternatively could be montage cuts between various scenes of combat. Diablo cinematic style combat transitions
- Finish montage off with the image of warriors struggling to fight off some hydra horror, upwards camera tilt so you can catch the light as we transition to the next panel with Fatimas landing on the beast, spear dug into the ground where its corpse should have been. (audio/ music effects to que in the epicness of her entrance and the realization that shit just got real)
- Fatima in a similar shot raises her spear from the ground and orients it towards the camera (implied to be Rusalka) with a high perspective distortion.
- Gma: Fatima, the Paragon of Hope, and her Sacred Legionnaires stood fast against Rusalka
- Camera returns to the pissed off face of Rusalka, a tight shot covering the expression of her face, rain hitting it and lightning cracking behind her.
- Camera moves back looking up at her as she raises her arms the tide rushing in.
- Camera moving outwards/ back to capture the eventual enormity of the silhouetted kraken form emerging from the fog/blackness. Lightning cracks to rim light the back of the huge creature IF THAT WASN'T ALREADY ENOUGH.
- Gma: ...and the monstrosity shed dredged from the abyssal depths.
- Camera follows fatimas animu arial leap/charge w/spear thing
- Camera clashing, alternating some fuckin cool iterations with some duking. Background is filled with heads and fighting legionnaires. Rusalka is leaping between heads, slowly scaling the Kraken as they fight.
- Cut between Rusalka and Fatima shots to show Legionaries getting eaten and screwed by the kraken, heads getting lobbed off, piles of soldiers pile up.
- Gma: Yet despite the Legions might, not even they could last long against such an abomination.
- Rusalka riding on one of the hydras heads at some point, camera facing down we pull back quickly to reveal fatima in the sky ready to plummet . She holds her spear aloft, it glows with radiance that gleams like the sun.
- Gma: In the end, Fatima was forced to bring her full might down upon the Demon Queen
- Mushroom cloud flash of her unleashed power upon both rusalka and the kraken.
- Ashy reveal from the flash (ashes falling, grey monotone) to unveil Fatima standing upon mounds of her fallen comrades, the remaining 4 of her legionnaires on her sides, head on shot.
- Gma: ... the power of which left nothing but devastation.
