Looks like a minimalist version in concept B on the second screenshot. Would that be a design for operation in hotter environments where bulky suits might be too hot? Maybe a stylized minimal version in order to make a recognizable character?

Oh yeah, second this. My favourite part of Space Marines in Warhammer is how heavy their armour is, cause it needs to be, to be able to stand up to what the galaxy has on offer. This catches some of the same tones but in a unique way, specifically with what looks like unaugmented humans and a very different design which I love so far

Love the look of these! They almost look Crustation or buglike in design which I can't say I've seen anywhere else, at least not in recent memory. Love the bulkiness and the heft of everything as well, and nice details that the actual suit clips into the mech, not just a harness or a seat. Just neat details

I love the general tone and shape of these. A lot of what I'm getting from the concepts so far is very exaggerated shapes that convey how much protection a human needs to exist in these spaces to the point where they are somewhat dehumanised. Very grimdark.
