Don't worry, one of the few plotlines that are present throughout the entire show is that Kenny never truly dies. He's immortal (he dies but rises again, it's even flat out stated in later seasons). Season 6 is where it just took a little longer than normal for him to respawn (and the way he comes back next time is hilarious and you should look forward to it).
