There’s a wrong translation at 37:43 Kami didn’t find the ship while wondering. The ship was his house, where he lived all his childhood. Only that he didn’t know it was a ship; to him, it was just his house. It was only when he left to explore the world that he noticed that his house was different from all the normal houses. That’s how he came to suspect this house had been really a ship all along.

I thought Roshi got eternal youth from something other than the Dragon Balls. He doesn't have immortality because he can still die.

You got it right so far. Roshi is a hige perv and older he gets, the more he has no chill. (Fun fact he used the Dragonballs to wish for immortality so they stuck with him) And Bulma got dolled up for who knows what reason, but eventually she’ll be throwin dat thang at anyone from aliens, to saiyans, even gave Roshi a peak back in the days.
