I’m so happy you watched this movie…it’s my favorite Christmas movie I must watch it every year. Love your reactions so much❤️❤️

Ya know, as a kid, I never really cared to watch this movie. But I finally watched it maybe 10 years ago, and as an adult, I absolutely love it! Another Christmas movie suggestions would be: Christmas with the Kranks (I don’t remember if you saw it or not), It’s a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas. Just to name a few! And please 🙏🏽 PLEASE watch the movie, The Three Amigos! I’ve been asking you to watch this one for years. As always, I love watching your reactions.

Clean fit Leo but I gotta admit you look sort of like Super Mario in my peripheral when I'm watching this.

I've got a Bella, but she is a lab ... my pit passed away last year and i miss him so much! Happy to see your Bella!

Since this movie references Little Orphan Annie, some background: Little Orphan Annie was originally a poem from 1885, that inspired a comic strip in the 1920s, which got adapted into a children's radio show in the 1930s (what Ralphie was listening to). The comic strip series later inspired a Broadway show in the 70s, and a film adaptation in 1982, which came out a year before 1983's A Christmas Story.

She's so Fancy

An amazing Christmas movie. I think this movie truly encapsulates a large percentage of the American public. Although it is set decades prior to when it was released, and decades since it was released, it's a great example of the working class existence of modern America. The Parkers, were not wealthy people. They were not perfect people (and there is objectively no such thing). They are real people. It's one of the most relatable Christmas movies ever made. My daughter is 11, and I don't think she believes in Santa like she used to. I think she knows Santa isn't a realistic thing. But she is still excited, and wants to believe in him. I personally feel, that's a good thing. Santa is an example of the Spirit of the holidays. My daughter will soon come to the understanding that just because Santa isn't with us today, doesn't mean their message is lost. I also think the message extends across religions, philosophies, and parenting methods. Good stuff Leo.

I always tear up when Ralphie opens up his BB gun - just seeing the look on his parent's faces while he's so happy on Christmas morning just feels good.

Every generation complains about the one before it

Family Man is a Slept on classic. I watched it the 1st time when I found it in my sisters stack of burnt dvds. I made her watch it later. Then my girl, and a few friends. They all enjoyed it.

Has he watched DIE HARD yet? If not he should totally watch DIE HARD. One of the greatest Christmas movies ever. If he has watched it already, then instead he should watch… DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE!!! Nothing says Christmas like Samuel L Jackson… Literally. He cusses you out while he says it.

Mitch Coob

I second this!

According to an independent study conducted by professors at an unnamed university, research shows watching the Indonesian action thriller, The Raid 2 - the sequel to the cinematic masterpiece The Raid, on Mondays has proven to increase lifespans by at least several hours.

I have a Christmas story. I was 12 and my mom bought me the VHS tape of the movie The Last of the Mohicans. I fell in love with it and watched it every day after school, I got the French, Huron, and Mohican language lines down, I learned so much, and the next year in 8th grade we had a history paper due, 4 pages, and I wrote 55 about the French and Indian War because of this movie. I also learned how to play guitar and then taught myself piano because I wanted to play all of the songs. One of the best movies ever and if you watch it you will LOVE IT. It has everything.

Such great memories! The time period in this movie holds very hard times for people in America during World War II. So many of us millions of us didn’t have these Christmas’ and we’re so grateful for any kind of food on the table and the loving care of the homemade gifts we all made for each other in exchange. Holding loving space for all who, with any of our generosity and love, could be blessed by the gift of giving, volunteering and remembering our fellow man.
