Anson mount Is really good I think lol I Was happy when SNW got announced showing some Pike love xD

SpicyRikers

😂 Sometimes Kirk Tends to jump Headfirst into things it seems to me and I think Pike might be more Studious and Careful, But I DO like kirk, But for some reason Pikes Vibe is More Solid imo lol

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but No. 1 was Gene Roddenberry's wife. She was also the voice of the computer for the rest of the series, Nurse Chapel a part time character and Troys mother in the next generation.

I can't unsee Anson Mount as Captain Pike in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" and it somehow impacts how I view Captain Pike in TOS. It would have been blasphemous to say in previous eras of Trek but now.... yeah..... I see what you're saying 😂. He's "that guy" in the Federation. Hell... his hair alone is a diplomatic asset.

Mr. Video

spicy you are crazy lol kirk that man... i liked pike in charge tho

Oh right, I forgot she was recast as Nurse Chapel! and Troi's mom on TNG! and EVERY computer voice lol!!

Thanks for posting this one quick, was invested in what happens next lol Also Im going to get alot of hate for this probably, but is it just me or is anyone Kind of vibing more with Cpt. Pike than Kirk, I just seem to like his vibe and look more, hes kind of intense

100% right. Majel " number one " ended up being the most credited actor for her appearition and computer voices

We need another chick flick! Devil Wears Prada and Miss Congeniality are both fun, funny, and full of gorgeous women! And both are very popular movies!

Cayley

Captain Kirk and Elon spoke to each other on Twitter yesterday which was rather cool 😎.

Please finish the entire series then get back to the movies after that. You won’t regret it.

This was incredibly interesting & I found it very relatable to the ideas you get in Inception so it’s cool we just watched that together! At the end you said “Till the next episode.” I heard in my mind….”Hold up!” 😂 damn mind controlling aliens. 😆 Thanks again Leo!

So apparently the network rejected the original pilot because they thought it was "too intellectual". I've heard they also didn't think people would accept a show with a female second-in-command ("Number One", the black haired woman), and even that they thought Spock's pointy ears and eyebrows looked Satanic! They still thought the show had promise, though, so they commissioned a second pilot ("Where No Man Has Gone Before") with more action, which was accepted by the network. Gene Roddenberry still liked the original pilot, though, so he found a way to work it into this two-parter. The original unedited version of the first pilot was eventually released on VHS and DVD. Fun fact, the Talosians were all played by female actors, but made up to look like men and dubbed over with male voices. This made them seem more otherworldly. Next episode: Captain Kirk's backstory!

And btw, the suits didn't want this first pilot because they found it to be too " cerebral" so they ordered a second pilot, wich is pretty rare and saved the franchise 🖖

Let’s take a ride on the Starship Enterprise, I always wanted a Transporter Room ( I’m not the only one) 😂 Beam me up Scotty 😂 Thanks for keeping it going Leo 💕🫶🏻💕🐐👍
