"Gene Roddenberry, I'm comin' for ya!" lmao XD I like how you've only been watching Trek for a short time but you've already seen four Enterprise captains - Pike, Kirk, Decker, and Spock fun fact, the footage of Pike's mission to Talos is actually from the original pilot episode of Star Trek, which wasn't picked up by the network. After they did another pilot ("Where No Man Has Gone Before" - the one where the guy gets godlike powers), they made this two-parter to fit the original pilot into the show's plot. This is the only two-part episode of the original series.

Happy to see more Star Trek Leo! I will say the further you get into the series there are some crappy episodes but that is to be expected for a 1960s series. My favorite episode A Piece of the Action is one I know you will like!
