33:10 is a great example of why this film won an Academy Award for best achievement in cinematography and visual effects. It's one of the best mirror scenes ever filmed and probably the best scene in a film that relies heavily on CGI to make it work with practical effects. You can see slight differences between the actors and the reflection in the mirror but it's almost flawless. The huge mirror itself is said to have weighed over 2 tons which caused it to wobble. The CGI crew had to take that into account when hiding the massive set in its reflection. For over a century, film makers have used genius ways to hide cameras in mirrors but Christopher Nolan took it to a crazy level in this scene.

It was explained by the director I believe that the only time you see his father-in-law is in the real world, leading to understand the ending. Michael Caine once famously shared: “When I got the script of ‘Inception,’ I was a bit puzzled by it. And I said to [Nolan], ‘I don’t understand where the dream is.’ I said, ‘When is it the dream and when is it reality?’ He said, ‘Well, when you’re in the scene, it’s reality.’ So get that — if I’m in it, it’s reality. If I’m not in it, it’s a dream.” so literally any scene that Micheal is in, is reality, according to Nolan himself.

So, I don't have any answers about the end of this movie cuz who the hell knows.. but at the beginning when Leonard DiCaprio was dragged off of that beach and then offered some porridge from Saito? I think that porridge thing was Ochazuke. (Oh cha zoo kay) for the pronunciation. That dish is considered a comfort dish you have when you're sick or when you're in a rush at the office in Japanese culture. At its purest form it's just rice with green tea over top but people dress it up all sorts of ways. It's basically Japanese Grandma and Grandpa comfort food, from back when reviving your rice leftovers meant you had to pour hot liquid over it again. Before microwave reheating. It's very traditional so I wonder if they were in Saito's dream all along. Or if he was the architect. I don't know who else would know that and be able to put that into a dream landscape.

A cool way to learn how to lucid dream is to look at your hands and count your fingers throughout the day. Do it often enough and you'll do it in your dreams. You'll know its a dream cuz you'll have extra fingers or something. Once you realize your dreaming you can double check by looking at your phone, it'll look blurry or like water.

Its actually been scientifically proven that people are capable of being conscience while they are sleeping, some people go there entire lives being conscience in their sleep and just assume others are the same. Its called lucid dreaming, The study was done by researchers at Stanford University in the late 1970s and early 1980s and led by Dr. Keith Hearne. They were able to prove it by asking lucid dreamers to look certain directions with their eyes while they were dreaming, then they recorded the way they were looking through their eye lids to prove it, so its scientifically accepted that its real. Anyway, the "Think of how you got here" trick is a common trick lucid dreamers use to induce it. Consciously asking youself how you got to where you are through out the day, will eventually carry over into a dream. Then you become lucid and aware that you're dreaming, quite the euphoric feeling.
