I forgot how good this movie is. Great reaction.
Hunter
How do you do the paid request reaction? I have discord, is it through there?
D-Matrix
Philadelphia is just a lawyer movie based in Philly but has nothing to do with Philly itself, if that makes sense. Now if there was a movie about an entire block being bombed by law enforcement, THAT could be a movie called Philadelphia worthy of the name.
Elfa
I totally agree with everything you said!
GuRillA_RACg_102
The movie Detroit is about the algiers motel murders in the 1967 Detroit riot
Terrance
Is Philadelphia based on a true story too? I wonder how many movies with states/cities in the name are based on true stories
GuRillA_RACg_102
You should watch Detroit it's a true story as well
D-Matrix
He said her baby look like Chucky. The Deputy actually IS Chucky.
hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD
very important movie respect to ever paid you to watch this .. dont ever be ashamed of who you are leo or were you come from you should never ever have to sell yourself to these kind of people as one of the good ones leo you should never have to describe yourself as some kinda dancing monkey to entertain some piece of shit that doesnt see you as equal ..be a proud black man ..
LynnC

This was actually the sequel to Murder in Mississippi which the way it ended was how this movie opened with the 2 white guys and the black guy being chased down by the local racist law enforcement and clansmen. It was students from a university that were coming to try and make a difference and tried to get rid of segregation but the locals were stirred up by it causing a ruckus which ended with them being killed.. sad story in both films.. indeed hard to watch at times.

Thank you!

It's very easy to get burnt out on the fast n furious series.
nick maldonado
Does it matter. We like what we all like. Dont judge us in here for what we like.
vito

Flukemarm
Leo said he loves bowling so Kingpin is a must
Nate D.
what a star studded cast of an incredible movie
Democracy LIVES
It's crazy that there's still some people that think this way today. Well less prominent of course but their obvious mental handicap keeps getting passed down somehow.
nick maldonado
When r we getting fast 7, been waiting for a fat minute

40:07 the Sheriff's racist description of the NAACP is based on what the Governor of Mississippi actually said at the time and was used as a slogan in a political campaign he won. Paul Johnson won the hearts of Mississippians at the time with his explanation of the NAACP. This film in 2024 looks crazy and to modern viewers might seem an exaggeration. However, this film is pretty accurate to what Jim Crow was in American history. "Mississippi Burning" is art but also a reminder of a past that wasn't that too long ago within the United States. BTW, this is a Time article from 1963 that mentions Johnson's comment about the NAACP. Reading this article in 2024 is wild. I found it hilarious Mississippi politics was in such a state to where if a politician sided with JFK on some issues, they were viewed as extreme 😂 https://time.com/archive/6829567/mississippi-if-you-try-dont-succeed/
Chaos T
It's awesome seeing people watch this for the first time. It's an important film imo. "Mississippi Burning" highlights how insane the South was during the Jim Crow era.
Chaos T
This film is a good example of why hate crime laws exist within the US. Local governments can't be trusted to investigate their own. As dubious as the FBI is at times, their track record on the crimes shown in this film is pretty good. The FBI getting involved with every case considered a hate crime is one of the positive things about that agency.
Anti(Adam)
I think he did but if not that would be cool too
Chaos T
I haven't watched this in ages and forgot how many great actors are in this film. Hell of a cast.
Chaos T
I'm very happy Mr. Video reacted to this important film. I saw this film in my youth yet many of the themes and scenes stuck with me decades later. What I always remembered about this film is the barber scene with the mayor listening to a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game. It's hilarious because the St. Louis Cardinals were one of the first teams in the MLB to fully integrate which is a huge reason why they were a dominant team in the 1960's. Many members of the Cardinals from that era of baseball experienced horrible, vile racism. Death threats were common. Rupert picked up on this quickly and throughout the scene it was almost as if he was holding back laughing because of the hypocrisy of racists being fans of a baseball team that had prominent black baseball players changing the face of the game. EDIT: This comedy plays out again around 42:40. Dude is eating his dinner being entertained watching Bob Gibson pitch.
Fatal N Felony
sounds petty
Fatal N Felony
how would you rate that movie?
Fatal N Felony
first time watching too, was a great movie. was surprising to see merle from the walking dead, is he typecasted or what haha. if you feel the need to belittle yourself by saying something like "i'm one of the good ones" to somebody then they probably don't respect you and aren't worth knowing.
Ashley
its every area. and if you think otherwise you are being lied to. Or you are a fucking cop. and if so fuck you. cops are evil and sheriffs are fucking NAZIs.
James Thompson
I'm sorry that you live in an area where that is happening, but there are good police out there. It's a dangerous job and I am happy that there a people willing to do it
Felicia Wiggins
Can't watch that again 😕 Didn't think I'd make it thru THIS again but I was scared for Leo cuz he had NO CLUE what was comn!!
Ashley
"They did things different back in the day" Honestly its still pretty much the same. Sheriffs are fucking corrupt and evil. every Sherriff department in the country is a fucking gang of thugs and they need to be stopped. ACAB.
FluffSteel
Bro… rewatch the Deadpools, Ik yo ass don’t remember them ☠️

I'm obsessing over a small detail but that whole flower thing is weird. When he first asks about the name of the "Trumpet Pitcher" flowers, there are actual Trumpet Pitcher plants right there, but he picks the white flower instead. When he picks the flowers for Mrs. Pale there are again actual trumpet pitcher plants but he picks the white flowers (Yarrow?). Then they talk about the white flowers as if they are colorful carnivorous pitcher plants, which they obviously aren't. I guess they had everything scripted and set up, but realized giving pitcher plants would be a weird looking romantic gesture.

Dont sleep on Edge of Tomorrow, there is a reason it got the most Likes to first time you did a "most likes post" and it got the second most likes the second time you did it. You didnt watch it the first time because you switched it to a poll and something else pulled ahead
