Logan

DVoid Comics

I saw this in the theatre on the opening Friday when I was 27. I went to see it and it was sold out, so I bought a ticket for the last show of the night. I was exhausted and fighting to stay awake when I walked to the cinema but I sat there and watched it from start to finish. It's not a perfect movie and I know many comicbook fans who wanted to see other things happen in this movie, but I still feel it was a spectacle to behold from start to finish. This is on par with Joker from 2019 to me and will forever be one of my favorite movies. I still think the doctor was supposed to be played by Stan after all these years and I will never forgive the Academy for not nominating Logan for Best Score. The music for James's eulogy was 'Who Wants to Live Forever', I mean seriously! Fun bit of trivia, Shane is the movie they watch in the hotel room. Charles says he saw it when he was a young boy. Patrick Stewart said that it was one of the first films he saw in the cinema when he was a child, and ironically, the makeup artist for Logan was the child of the makeup artist of Shane.

Rind J.J

uhhh i have been waiting for this one <3

Pablo Escobar

Watch daredevil it's actually really good

D-Matrix

BONECHILLING. Bahahahahahahahahaha

Michael

Yeah not sure whats going on, but could be because its not the original ratio of the movie, its always made fullscreen so their faces look elongated. Hopefully whoever edits these, see's or knows because yeah its been a bit less quality lately like youre saying. >.<

Nicolas Poutoire

The quality and framerate of the video is not great lately on these movies

Al Koholic

This Wolverine is inspired off of Old Man Logan comic books. The Adamantium Striker put inside Wolverines body was slowly poisoning his body

SpicyRikers

Oh man I'm late to the game but happy to see this! One thing that happens with brain diseases is they can change someone so profoundly that they might say and do things they'd never have done before they got the disease, its quite distressing for everyone involved its so sad, So don't take The Professors rude moments etc to heart , its just the disease really :(

Dylan Channell

More dbz today😁

Chaos T

I agree with you about the second movie. It was still really good. For a movie trilogy, the GOTG story is damn good.

KG

Overlooked gem.

Ryan Buckley

Man Nathan I feel ya, I've been here since he started movie reactions, so I know its been years for the Sunny Gang. 6 more seasons for you guys, I feel ya though

James Therian

It was a good watch I just wish they went deeper into the backstory of what happened to the Xmen and other mutants instead of little hint's throughout the film, "unless i missed something". I know they added junk to the food so the gene would be bred out of existence but what about those that were left still? Mentioned Charles accidently killed seven but I'm sure there were more Xmen at the time than that. Cheers!!

Lada Dinero

I really think you’d dig Reign of Fire if you haven’t seen it…

Mitch Coob

It really is tho lmao just means Leo gotta start getting to some of em 🤣

Drew McGary

Same

Itss_NattyJ

Mitch, this list of yours is getting long. 😂 It's a good mix tho. I've seen every movie/series listed except for Friday Night Lights.

Nathan

Hear that to each their own. Sunny been running since before breaking bad started (if you can remember back then) so really I just want more eps so we can wrap it up 😂 been so long

Ryan Buckley

I'm the same but with South Park, I've been asking for more than one ep too, for all shows, if he gets through these faster, he can start new shows, but I LOVE me some SP, and Sunny is great! just not for me

Michael

Also watch Flushed Away’ it’s an animated film but it a pretty funny and Hugh Jackman is in it and it will be less sad haha :)

Michael

Yesssss

Michael

I’m not readddyyyyy haha nah but hell yeah gonna be watching this at work tonight! Let’s gooooo can’t wait for what’s next as well! Stay litty y’all

Nathan

Ready for sunny, fingers crossed for more than 1 ep.

Kevin DiSalvo

You know what? I wanna start requesting Apt Pupil starting right now. Because I don't want to wait for Ian McKellan to pass away before giving him his flowers, and his performance in that movie was great

Ryan Winn

Chill man it’s only $5 a month

Greg

Thanks

Tony 2 Times

He has! search thru here or maybe the discord🙏

Greg

Have you watched the shawshank redemption yet? Really good movie.

Robert Miller

Oops yes, fat fingers.

Flukemarm

2005, nobody needs to watch FANT4STIC (2015)

Zachary Beverly

Deadpool and wolverine comes out on digital on October 1st.

Robert Miller

What kinda training? He was in multiple wars so plenty of military training. Ain't nothing wrong with crying when losing a loved one... Logan was dying and closer to death the whole movie. Why would you be so surprised he died at the end? They even said it at the beginning of Deadpool 2 that he died which you already watched. . Logan was never invincible. Prof X gone, Wolverine gone. Deadpool 2 would have been the next movie to watch, but now you just need to watch Fantastic 4 (2005), and Daredevil (2003) and you will be ready for Deadpool & Wolverine.

Democracy LIVES

@Chaos it's honestly such a fun movie. Love it. Tbf all of the GOTG movies are good. I think the second one is a bit slower in pace and has less great moments but still not bad.

Democracy LIVES

Are we not getting Dark Phoenix? I know it's generally reviewed as being bad, which rightfully so but I was just wondering. Skipping New Mutants is a no brainer tbh.

Fatal N Felony

rip logan

BigBliss

Lmaooooo

HashKetchum

Weird mf it’s not that serious go watch them on your own why Deadpool got so many grown adults pressed like this lol

HashKetchum

What a loser lmao

kevin staab

you have to understand wolverines power from the beginning was his natural ability to heal. That’s why he was able to withstand the torture or sheer pain of making his bones into metal. Which intern started to poison him slowly

Andres

Yukio was right good story telling

Kevin Bernard

How?

Chaos T

The issues you bring up are nitpicky. The stuff you bring up isn't really relevant to the storytelling in "Logan".

Chaos T

Mr. Video, what I love about the finality of the Wolverine character arc is the thing that made Wolverine extremely overpowered is the thing that eventually ended his long life.

theOutcast

Silence your phone ffs

j0-2TiMEZz

Wats goin on lol bro mad cause he wants Leo to “rewatch” something he’s already seen? I can’t even watch a reaction if I already kno they’ve seen it lol wats the point of doing that?? 🤦🏽‍♂️

Fleshtotem

Bro Deadpool and Wolverine digital release is on October 1 and I cant wait for that reaction bro

Benjamin

Wtf lmfao

Monica O

No one is making you watch anything. Merely pointed you in the right direction but it appears you don't know your left and right. The full Patreon reactions have been deleted and only the youtube version remains. The only way to watch it full is IF Leo decides he wants a refresher before Deadpool 3 and does a reaction. Otherwise it's out of our hands 🤷🏻‍♀️ So no need for all the tantrum throwing.

Anti(Adam)

cringe

Tubular

Tubular

No they certainly are not

Chaos T

GOTG3 rates high for me. When originally watching the film, I thought my love of the film may have been recency bias but it's an MCU film I rewatch the most since its release. It's a really damn good comic book film.

Flukemarm

Hugh Jackman in: The Prestige (2006), The Fountain (2006)

Robert Miller

Theres a reason this was a rated R movie haha. Wolverine always aged, just really slow. The adamantium in him was slowly poisoning/killing him the whole time. You can skip on New Mutants if you want. Doesn't lead to anything.

Monica O

The deleted Deadpool 1 & 2 reactions are on his Discord. Here are the links : Deadpool 1 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wSL-1SI63tUCwxDldVVwx24_GGQvGkKD/view?usp=share_link Deadpool 2 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xcLJ_OlqanXNJmxqcffdg0qnfKSpaONh/view?usp=share_link Hope this helps

GenericStatue

He's already watched Deadpool

Robert Miller

they are available on his discord for free

Al Koholic

The western they were watching was Shane (1953)

Ashley

My man knows about PB Blaster. he is a biker for real.

Stefan Williams

the next XMEN movies suck ass past this one. new mutants and Dark Fate are absolutely terrible

Al Koholic

i would rate logan as the best movie in the fox xmen franchise

Nate D.

He’s reacted to deadpool already

Kevin Bernard

So there's two timelines, and Logan is connected to X-Men 1-3, and origins.... Is that what you trying to tell me?

Mega

the creators explained that the new timeline spun off of the end of Days Of Future Past is unconnected to Logan as this movie is a standalone "alternative future". The only other ties to Future Past's new branching future are Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. This isn't a sequel to that movie, anyways. So this ones a standalone adventure that only directly acknowledges X-Men 1, Origins and The Wolverine in passing mention. That being said I've always imagined all of the movies to share a single continuity, even retcons, cause despite the inconsistencies comics do that too. Seeing as if it wasn't the Sentinels then Charles would've been the one to wipe every mutant out, its an Absolute Point. Inevitable outcome in my opinion, but yeah. I still like each entry for what all of em bring to the table

Kevin Bernard

I didn't need anything cleared up about X 3. I was just saying what my problems with them was even though I understood what they was doing, but you did remind me of the chest piece that fell in the end. I forgot about that, thank you 🙏🏾 Also in the Logan it's not a new timeline. Everybody was alive again in futures past. When they was driving they said on the radio that the seizure the professor had years ago killed everyone at the school basically, and that's when Logan cut the radio off quick to protect him from it, because he still didn't know. The professor didn't realize what he's done until he finally remembered that night in bed when he thought he was talking to wolverine when he got stabbed. Now everyone is dead.

Mega

think my top 5 has gotta be Iron Man 1, Logan, Infinity War, Into The Spider-Verse and Captain America Civil War. Those cover all of the grounds while still being both fresh and faithful to their source materials

Mega

To clear up some stuff and answer a few questions, the cure in X-men 3 was only temporary as proven by magneto moving the chess piece at the final scene. Charles survived cause he transferred his consciousness into another body, the one in a coma at the end of 3, and either got plastic surgery or cloned, something like that. The new timeline Wolverine creates at the end of Future Past isn't connected to this movie Logan, this film is in its own continuity because of the conflicting info of the last mutant being born "25 years ago". So the ones Charles killed wasn't the same OGs that got brought back to life, they're separate X-Men. The timelines suck, but the movies themselves and specifically this one are solid.

Democracy LIVES

Best story/acting and most emotional I would definitely give to Logan and then Civil War though, without a doubt.

Democracy LIVES

In no order it would have to be Endgame, No Way Home, Deadpool 3, Civil War and the first Avengers. 6th would be a fight between Logan and GOTG3. I am a sucker for big team ups and Im not a massive fan of movies where the hero is weakened in the story or where 75% of the movie is depressing and sad. To each their own though of course. I just prefer young Wolverine tearing shit up. Still a great movie. Wbu, whats your top 5?

Mitch Coob

Right? Feels like a movie he’d have seen already lol but if not we need it!

Ethan Smith

Life 1999 would be a fire reaction

Alex Tardiff

whats ur top 5?

Anti(Adam)

Thanks for the upload Leo, Sending good vibes your way! also a friendly reminder you will want to watch Fantastic 4 (2004) before deadpool and wolverine

Tubular

This means that anybody who subs to your patrion and wants to watch the X-men movies does not have the option to watch one of them…. Like yeah watch the first 6, skip the 7th and go to the 8th. I am so disappointed

Ben Whitehead

Logan ages just very slowly

Tubular

I don’t really get how you’re getting ready for Deadpool three and skipping Deadpool… I thought we were doing a watch through of the X-men movies and now I just have to watch it alone… very weird

LynnC

You've caught up on 20 years of films in what? 4-6 weeks? Crazy when you think about it. James, Jimmy, Howlett, X, Wolverine, Logan died here in 2029. RIP. Dude had enough names.

Kevin Bernard

2nd watch around this was much better, but I still stand by my first comment about why I didn't like it

Maurissa Fields

One of my favorites. Thanks 🤎

vito

I agree it’s not just end credit music though people tend to ignore/not care about a movies score. Which is a shame imo

Democracy LIVES

Great movie. Wouldn't put it in my top 5 Marvel movies but still great. Top 10 for sure.

Chuck M

Ok maybe I'm lil fuzzy but don't the adamantium poison Logan also from what I remember from the comics n he's constantly rehealing from it , well Leo your getting closer to deadpool not there yet definitely loving the marvel journey with you, maybe can finish up starwars sometime n get through ughh the newer ones hopefully get to the series of mando and ashoka down the road ,

esrA eloH

Why do people just completely ignore film credit soundtracks... I just don't get it, to miss so much of what makes some films. This 1 in particular, after 2 decades of that character, through so much suffering & trying to die, finally they let us have it. The credit music is part of it. I jsut do not get it, as soon as the credit music comes up, nup done by by, like, No, what. God I couldn't imagine missing that for, god, hundreds of films it's part of the feeling they've tried to create.

Riley

I'm already crying and haven't hit play yet... about to but still :'(

RTF

The Wedding Singer

Cody Jado

gonna watch this as i play some EFT

Cody Jado

LOVE watching these movies for the first time with you!!!

Tony 2 Times

Thanks for the drop, definitely my favorite of the Wolverine films👌👌👌👌stay blessed all

Nathan

I have not, added that to my list sounds interesting!

KG

Have you guys ever seen 'Steel Dawn'? Patrick Swayze's post-apocalyptic remake of Shane. Same story but with more monsters and flipping around.

I'm Batman

This movie is rated R, that's why there's so much heavy language in it. The director wanted to write a more adult appropriate movie and not one for kids. I love this given how most of us were kids when Hugh first portrayed wolverine in the first X-Men and by the time this movie came out most of us were adults. It was the better choice I feel like. Also it fits with wolverines characteristics more. He is an animal and pure savage and with an R rating they didn't have to hold back on the killing.

vito

💯 deadpool & wolverine is all inside baseball you’re not going to get everything unless your super sweaty

I'm Batman

Shane was my mawmaw's favorite movie, I remember liking it as a kid but I haven't watched it in so long I can't recall anything from it. She always hoped I'd have a boy and would name him Shane, never had a boy though so I wasn't able to grant her that wish.

Zachary Beverly

The green juice is Apocalypse’s spinal fluid. That’s why it makes mutants stronger.

Jay Perry

When you thought the guy said "Do you have training?" I think he said "Do you have a shrink?"

Jay Perry

When I was about 17, an old man offered his wife to me. Later I realized that he had been grooming me to take part in a cult that wanted to take over the USA, and he wanted to get something on me or make me owe him something. His wife cried when I rejected her.

Silly Uncle Andy Farmer

Every time i see Eric LaSalle (the father of the family at the farm who make dinner for Logan Prof X and Laura) i just automatically think of him in Coming To America spraying his hair with Soul Glow while the high pitched song is playing "Just let your sooooooul gloooooww" 😄 🤣

Kentrell

Yes sirski can’t wait to watch this, appreciate it bro 🔥💯

Nate D.

Fuck yesssss I've been waiting to rewatch this greatness

Jay Perry

One time when I was five or six, I shut down an entire outdoor escalator at the San Diego Zoo. There was already a very long line, All I did was press the big red button.

j0-2TiMEZz

Yessir!!!

Emmanuel Armstrong

I gotta agree this movie was a top teir movie for the franchise. I was always more of a gambit and night crawler guy but this one choked me up a little bit. More than iron man's tbh

Cayley

Had to pause it and mention that spotted dick is sort of like fruitcake 😂.

hoodcollector aka BIG HOOD

look man just watch the deadpool and wolverine movie , your never gonna get all the references and cameos and all that geeky comic book shit and thats ok hell im a hardcore geek thats read all the comics watched all the movies even though most suck and im sure i didnt get 100% percent of everything so fuck it just as long as you have a good time watching it and we have a good time watching it with you its all good ...

Shane T

I was named after Shane lol

Alucard

Died with his heart in his hand

Kevin Farrell

This please. Dont rewatch 2 movies because of a couple minutes of references in the third

Nathan

the western theyre watching in the hotel called "Shane" i believe, 50s something western as far as i remember. Its pretty good youd like it! id love a little detour into some old westerns, "Searchers", "StageCoach", "Few Dollars more" things like that

Mega

I'm hyped to finally watch this masterwork with you, Logan along with Spider Verse and Dark Knight are the goat comic movies

Mitch Coob

I’d personally rather see you react to something new than to rewatch the Deadpool movies, just my two cents.

Mitch Coob

Haha def a good amount! Would recommend everything on the list at some point even if it’s something you watch in your own time. A lot of classics on there.

Drew McGary

It's because the full version isn't available on patreon and it's been years since he watched it. personally I watched Deadpool 3 after not seeing the first 2 for years and I regret it because I forgot a ton of important information.

Drew McGary

He should at least watch Deadpool 2 again. Because after I hadn't watched it for a bit I was so confused why all his friends are back alive again.

Drew McGary

Please rewatch deadpool before watching the third. I guarantee you'll Miss A lot of things unless you refresh.

Laidiesman22

YOU CAN SLEEP WITH MY WIFE MAN DONT WORRY ABOUT THE COUCH 😂😂

Drew McGary

Please rewatch deadpool

L1T K3Y

now THATS a classic, W reccomendation

Kevin Bernard

On 2nd thought... I'll watch. Some things are more entertaining a 2nd time around 🤔

Nathan

Got no dog in the x men fight but I have seen the new mutants and I can confirm YOU DO NOT NEED TO WATCH IT and honestly I’m begging you not to. A real waste of time

Ryan Buckley

Dude that's like a full years worth! lol jk. Good list, I've only seen about half of them

MajorMayhem

No Leo none of those kids will be in New Mutants, as a matter of fact that movie has absolutely nothing to do with any of the X-men or DP movies.

Al Koholic

He can but he doesn't need to react to it again.

Ryan Buckley

Hope youre having a great day Leo! "Black Hawk Down" for Veterans Day please :)

Al Koholic

Bro besst Marvel Show is Daredevil you gottta see it to believe it . It's also connected to MCU. Remember Daredevil made a cameo in Spider-Man no way home

Al Koholic

Let's goooooo. And Leo you don't need to re-react to no Deadpool movies. You can rewatch it again off camera if you want.

Daniel Ahr

Also perfect timing Leo! It was just announced that Deadpool and Wolverine will be available for digital at the beginning of October so if you want, you can jump right into that film after preparing with all of these films

Daniel Ahr

I think re-watching Deadpool 2 would be cool, since that has references to all the X-Men Movie along with some MCU Jokes so maybe if you re-watch the uncut version of Deadpool 2 it might be a slightly different experience esp now that you've seen all the films

Michael Kochis

I was 10 years old when the first XMEN movie released and 27 when Logan released. I never had much experience with the comics and only knew Hugh as Wolverine. So, when I saw this in theaters, I felt like I had lost somebody. The audience was either quiet or crying. NOBODY can fill Hughs shoes as Wolverine. Also I'll add that this is an adaptation of the "Old Man Logan" comics, but movie wolverine is WAY underpowered compared to comics wolverine. In the comics the dude can regen from a single blood cell.

I'm Batman

Right, I fucking lost my shit when Laura called him dad and he says this is what it feels like. Was trying my hardest to hold back the tears but at that point there was no way I could.

Kevin Bernard

You know what... I think I'm going to skip this reaction... Now before people throw stones at me in the comments let me explain why... I did not like this movie when I first seen it along time ago... If you are still reading, then thank you for your patience in still letting me explain why I didn't... Ok... The first 3 X-Men movies was (when you think about it) garbage because they mostly died in 2 & 3... How are you going to kill off cyclops, jean, the professor, and take away rogues powers? While we are on the subject they never did explain HOW they got their powers back. Eric and Charles just popped up in front of Logan like "We need your help" thinking dude was powerless, and the other was dead 😂 I got off topic sorry... Anyway after rewatching these movies with Leo I see they corrected some mistakes they made in the first class X movies from the old ones and that includes bringing everyone back to life..... Now then Apocalypse comes out... Before it came out I was VERY excited, because the OG team was ALIVE again, and if you grew up on the 90's X-Men cartoons you could understand my not being able to wait to see them all face him. We had Beast back, Rogue, ice man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean, Storm, The Professor! Everyone alive and Apocalypse was their most powerful enemy ever! Yet they had their younger selves face him instead!? The ONLY good thing about that movie (as entertaining as it was watching it a 2nd time) is that it was closer to wolverines dreams of getting his claws and escaping compared to "Wolverine X-Men's origins". That's what I mean by correcting some things. Now we get to Logan... The professor has a seizure or something, and KILLS everyone. Only him, and Logan survives?? So wait, wait, wait.... You mean I had to sit through 12 movies to wait for you to bring the OG cast alive again ONLY to KILL them off again WITHOUT any screentime!? Oh... Hell... No... So I've come to the conclusion that the X-Men movies suck... Especially this one. This is all (Respectfully) in my opinion though I'll see you all in Dark Phoenix, because that's one I haven't seen yet. By the way have you guys noticed that almost every game of thrones actor been in these marvel movies? 😅 ✌🏾

Chaos T

I would love to see a re-watch reaction to the Deadpool movies. It might be a different experience for Leo now that he has X-Men movie knowledge.

Michael Kochis

Same. I was on vacation to see family in NJ and I went by myself cause my family didn't want to see it. I just remember a 1/2 sobbing (including me) and 1/2 completely silent audience when the credits rolled.

I'm Batman

I remember watching this in the theaters and at the end it was just deafening silence. We all knew there wasn't a post credit scene either since the ticket guys told us but we stayed to sit through the credits just to let it all sink in. Man what a powerful marvel movie. No other marvel movie I've seen has had that kind of impact.

Itss_NattyJ

Hallelujah!!! Finally, we’re here!

vito

You don’t need to rewatch the deadpool movies Leo. Watching them now after the X-men movies may let you catch a few references but it’s really not necessary

Emmanuel Armstrong

I used to love sizzlers cuz of that scene lol

Erin Black

PLEASE, WATCH "LIFE AS A HOUSE". I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR A YEAR. I CAN PRETTY MUCH GUARANTEE THAT YOU LOVE IT (99.999% CHANCE THAT YOU WILL). I GPT RID OF MOSTLY ALL OF MY PATREON CHANNELS EXCEPT YOU. HAVE A NICE DAY, AND GOD BLESS YOU. 🐶🐶🐶
