Really really great movie. This one and Texas Chainsaw 2 really show off Tobe Hooper's range. Family drama, horror, comedy... So good.

I’m watched this when it first came out and I watched all of the movies in the series. If you’re going to do poltergeist, you must do the rest of them. It is bone chilling right up to the last part of the series which explains everything.
