I never realized it was based on Taming of the Shrew until now. I read it for school then again the next year helping tutor someone in literature, but only now its hitting me over the head. 🤦🏾‍♂️. Even the teacher saying re-write Shakespeare in your own words hits different. Already liked the movie now i wanna watch it again.

A big difference between today and the 1990's is there were not cameras everywhere and everyone wasn't their own walking "show." Kids now are in constant "on for public consumption" mode. It's kinda gross.

I never saw this and it has me mourning Heath Ledger all over again. He was incredible. We should watch the Terry Gilliam film he was doing when he passed. It's so clear he was still haunted by the Joker in the character he played in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus and Gilliam found a clever way to finish the film without him. So sad that he left this Earth so early. There just aren't enough movies with him.

This movie is top ten for me. I love it. And yes when I was younger and high school we wore simpler makeup it wasn’t really all about trying to impress some guy with something outward. No offense but girls today atleast some do cake on that make up. Even today I still dress conservatively and don’t wear too much makeup. Guys are not Into that kind of thing. They want someone they can be with for long term. Most of them anyway. Times back then were so much simpler and a lot more safe. I loved this movie so much. If you haven’t seen it I suggest how to lose a guy in ten days you know to kind of go along with this title. If you haven’t seen it. Or if you haven’t seen it maybe even Tommy boy. This was amazing great reaction again Leo. Much love to you.
