So Han was originally from a movie called Better Luck Tomorrow directed by Justin Lin, who also did Tokyo Drift. Lin apparently wanted to work with his actor again, so he wrote Han into Tokyo Drift's story. Long story short, Han was a punk high school student from California who got into petty crime for the thrills, and then went on the run after he was involved in a murder. That's why he eventually ended up in Japan.

Can't wait for 4 and 5, the fifth is definitely one of my favorites.

the 4th instalment is dogshit (the worst one other then #9). The 5th though, is AMAZING. Possibly the best entry in the Fast saga
