Like you briefly mentioned, Kojima used to steal characters, designs, stories and even OSTs coming from famous movies and tv shows because he thought nobody would notice. Kojima is a joke. It's funny, everyone loves the first one but for me it's the most unoriginal with it's simple zombie plot. And the second movie just feels like a lot of stalling. This movie is my favorite because plotlines actually MOVE FORWORD and resolve.

The 4th movie is pretty damn good too. Since this is the end of the trilogy, he could certainly stop here. It's definitely a good ending point for the series, since the original three are their own story. I'd still like to see him check out Stranger Tides at least though. I'd say World's End is the best of the movies, in any case. I don't understand the hate this movie got. Incredible cinematography, incredible CGI and an incredible way to end the trilogy.

I almost forgot. In case you were curious -- as I was when I first saw this film -- about what Calypso shouts just before she collapses into thousands of crustaceans: It roughly translates in English to, "Across all the seas, find the path to he who wrongfully entombed me!" Which, as Will conveniently revealed to her just before, was Davy Jones who betrayed her to the first Brethren Court. And yes, Captain Barbossa as then-current captain of the ship is able to wed Will and Elizabeth in that world. I believe that generally, at least as the law stands now, there has to be another layer to that in order for it be a legal, binding marriage. But in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean, he was apparently able to do so.
