you gotta stop worrying that you're going to laugh at the wrong thing, the trick to the show is the gang is always the butt of the joke. that's why the show gets away with so much. so when you laugh, it's at what terrible people they are, how inappropriate they are, etc...nothing in that episode mocked actual troops

You saw Ernie in the bar a whole bunch Leo, just never paid attention to him because he was one of the 'bar flies' that would be passed out drunk in Paddy's in the background of shots haha. Fairly certain his only line on the show was when he gave The Gang the paper with the review at the end of the worst bar episode and said 'check it out'. Oh, and Mac and Dee are married, Charlie and The Waitress are married, Dennis' wife shows up in an episode soon, and even Frank's wife pops up much later on *even though technically she did a DVD bonus feature for them by now*... basically the show is one big happy family lol. Some of their kids have even appeared. Cricket is pretty much the only one who has never gotten his wife to pop on at some point.

Yeah Mac & Dee are married, on their podcast they said they started dating in secret during season 1 and told the rest of the guys they were together in season 2. Thinking about the scenes when Mac goes off on her are extra hilarious knowing that, just like seeing how much the waitress shits on Charlie is that much funnier! Love Rowdy Roddy Piper as the Maniac 😆 great run of episodes, can’t wait for the next batch as always! “Shit did I get ya Cricket? Musta had an edge.” 😂🤣
