This was such a fun time! Came out before I was born but my older sisters used to reference so many lines from this movie since I can remember! I saw it eventually but its been a long time. Heaps of comments on youtube to watch the comedy "Paul" (2011), I agree with them, definitely check it out!

Hey Mr. V. Hope this finds u well. Such a great, fun classic. Sent Mike Myers on an incredible career. In the Bohemian Rhapsody” scene, the studio wanted a song from Guns N’ Roses. Myers was adamant about the Queen song, and even vowed to quit the film if he didn’t get his way. He got his way, best way to go. Everyone I knew was chanting Waynes World, Party Time Excellent, 'asphinctersayswhat', etc. lol. One of my fav quotes was "I once thought I had mono for an entire year. Love this movie! When I first saw it, the cameo by Alice Cooper was a major spark of joy, as he is -- and always will be -- my favorite rocker no matter how much my musical tastes change over the years. The soundtrack in this movie is also top notch. Your comment about pool made me wistful. I used to play so often at our local club when I was in my early 20s, that I ended up buying a full-size pool table for my house, even though I couldn't really afford it and it took up my entire living room, LOL. Sadly, I had to sell it a few years later in order to pay my property taxes, ugh. It had been a great way to attract guys: "Come on over to my house; I've got a pool table!" 😁 I had a drum kit, too, though I never was very good on the sticks, and sold it as well. Property taxes are a bitch.
