I have no idea why people were so adamant about him watching Dragon Ball Z with all of the filler rather than Dragon Ball Z Kai which is the actual correct telling of the story.
Oli Popescu
For sure had a different feel. It was more playful and the stakes were usually not as high. But I actually felt it had less filler episodes, because the bad guys were not as strong so the fights never lasted very long. Either way I'm here for the ride.

I'd came across Dragon Ball after watching DBZ for the first time back in the day, lil Goku was fun to watch be a problem but it felt slower almost fan-service like after watching the DBZ sagas. Still absolutely fun and a great watch if you really enjoyed DBZ but it just hits different is all.
karma
I hope one day you come across and watch some Hunter X Hunter. I've been itching to rewatch that for a while now, till then DBZ is more than enough :D
Oli Popescu
I'm sure all these characters will become like second nature to you eventually but there is 9 seasons of history behind some of these characters. Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin all competed against goku in martial arts tourneys when they were younger. And picollo used to be the villain until he realized the sayans were even worse than him. It's probably way too many episodes to get through but the original dragon ball series was really fun.

I grew up watching this show and I'm just now realizing a star wars reference. The navigational system on the Saiyan ships measure distance in parsecs. George Lucas came up with parsecs for star wars. Just thought that was cool.

Agreed. I just use the website.

TNG and DS9 are so legit!!! Michael Dorn has been in more canonical Star Trek than any other actor or actress. WORF SO OG!!
SpicyRikers
That's a fine idea, the orville is great to watch first, that first season will have him rofl for sure 😆🖖
Jesse S
Star Trek is awesome especially TNG and DS9. But I think that The Orville would be more suited for Leo. That show is actually how I became a Trek fan.
SpicyRikers
Hey man I love your videos! Have you ever thought about watching some star trek?

Being able to watch something I’ve seen multiple times for the first time, with someone so cool as Leo seeing it for the first time is why that subscription fee is worth it.
