its ok to know, most of the marketing was around him being the kid that grows to be vader. One of the first posters showed him walking outside his home with his shadow being that of vader on the wall.

Don't worry man, the movies were made with the assumption that at least some people knew that Anakin grew up to be Vader. Just don't look up anything about Darth Sidious.

Guys we actually had a unique opportunity for a blind reaction to the Vader reveal and you ruined it. Who else has ever been oblivious to Anakin's identity AND know what a badass Vader is? Only MR Video. But not anymore, because you just HAD to tell him what he missed. Screw you guys.

If you’ve seen the original trilogy (4-6) then you should know that anakin is Vader as his name is directly mentioned by Obi Wan a couple times. Also the last name “skywalker” is supposed to be a giveaway. Doesn’t ruin the films. Makes it more tragic
