Hey Leo. I am a reformed hood. You may be surprised but in well established street operations no actual moves are made without the green light from the inside. EVERYTHING is run from the Inside.

Just incase anyone ever visits or lives in LA. That restaurant he walks out of in the beginning, Los 5 Puntos in East LA, you guys really need to try. Some of the best Mexican food out there.

Yo Leo! I don't know if you'll see this, but I remember your famous Schindler's List reaction, and there is a 5-part miniseries called "Holocaust" with Meryl Streep from the late 1970's who I have never seen anyone react to, with the full episodes being on YouTube. Along with The Sopranos as I have also seen others request, The Wire as well would be a treat. Thanks for all you do! :)

This movie will forever remain in my top 10 all time films. I still notice new things every time I watch it. I like how the lighting during the final in-person visit between Paco/Miklo made it look like half Miklos face was painted like a skull. Day of the Dead style with the dark shadowed eye and the shadowed cheek. Wild. Would love a 5 hour version.
Chris Keller
I consider this movie a Hispanic must see. It’s a Chicano staple in the west coast. Ask almost any Hispanic person here and we seen it multiple times. LOVE that you did this movie. True MVP. Vatos Locos Forever 🤜🏽🤛🏿

Gotta do American Me now
Jojo
When the story is so epic you don't care about cliches and bad acting (Paco and Cruz were great though). The story is everything in this movie. It's like nothing I've ever seen. Unique movie. Great choice. Fyi, I think Miklo did a really great job in the assassination scene. One of the best scenes in the movie. Because he didn't talk 😋 His mannerisms where he did, let's be honest, were a bit much. That's what I'm sayin' btw. The story makes up even for that. Beyond all odds and the dubious acting, Miklo becomes epic. Michael Corleone vibes all the way. The story is so good he becomes believable.
