MagicaCSG Feature: Polygons with Variable Fillet Radius
🕑 Added 2025-03-08 02:47:43 +0000 UTCFor Polygons in Straight Line Mode, currently, you can change Bevel to add uniform fillets to all corners. This method has two issues:
can't assign different fillet radius to each corner.
can't add fillet to concave corners.
Therefore, a new property Fillet Radius (Spline Profile->R) is added to each control point.
you can press and the drag the circle (pointing to the outside of the polygon) to change the fillet radius for each corner.
You can also select the stroke (click the stroke surface), and then change the value in Spline Profile->R. This will change the radius for all the corners.
You can also press Profile->R to reset the radius to 0.

Hi, it's me from the future! I absolutely love using this feature, and if there is one thing I'd love to see in it, it would be for the gizmo to display lines connecting all the control points. They don't have to indicate the actual curvature and can be plain, straight lines (because I know that true curvature display would be a pain to implement and I can honestly live without it.)
