I find it kinda sad that most of the time people compare ATEEZ works with SKZ, they're from different groups things can seem similar but it's sad to acknowledge ATEEZ talent just because it got compared to SKZ one..

this's performance art<3 (the way san got even more buff since this?? like hello??) and yes san didn't have any dance experience and was the worst out of the group but he worked so hard that he is now labeled by journalists as "the man that will raise the standards of kpop performance" and the fact that other rookies look up at him now is wild. my man worked so freakin hard! ateez love kurmping and always add it in their choreo and jongho actually loves kurmping the most and he's really good at it.

I think in Ateez there is one thing that they do that is not common in kpop, they really act while engaging with anything they do, but is not like they force that to happen, comes naturally I think in part cause of their lore, they had to learn to embrace the storyline and make it believable or could come cringe. So they always get immersed in the stuff they do and specially San, Seonghwa and HongJoong always had that in a more charismatic way, San really works hard in understanding the feelings involved in anything he does. I think after so many years they are all really great in immersing in their characters and have a very charismatic aura. When watching them live you can feel how they love what they do, somehow there is a really warm vibe involving the fans is reallyunique. Reason why many non fans go to their concerts too cause is an experience. BTW happy 6 years for my boys! :D

He may have also been inspired from Ateez visit to Riot Games which started all kinds of rumors that Ateez was going to collab with them for... something. I never did hear what that visit was all about. 🤷‍♀️ I just know that this artistic expression from San was jaw dropping!

San is 100% a storyteller when it comes to dance. The way that he portrays his emotions through his movements allows his audience to feel what he feels, and I think that is a characteristic that can’t be taught. Idk if anyone mentioned but San helped with the Choreography alongside with BBTrippin, so it’s even more special. You should really give Wooyoung’s 12:45 cover a listen and his dance performance to 1-800 by Logic. Both really good!

This released almost a year ago and i still watch it like 2 times a week, I'm not kidding. The power he exudes is crazy, his performance skills in conveying a story and committing fully to a character and getting really immersed in it is like second to none. And yes, it's krumping! that's the dance style he has been exploring in his own time outside of group activities!

My Sannie the man that locks Atinys in for life lol. You need to watch the making of this video because he explains his process on this matter and why he did it. he said he wanted to give Atiny a special gift so he typed this when they were supposed to be either a day off or vacation. But that is what San does he has multiple sides to him and I love this side of him and the bubbly cute side of him. I can watch this video numerous times and never get bored.

If you’re interested in checking out more of their individual ‘side quests’, I agree with the person who recommended Jongho’s immortal songs performance of Wildflower. Mingi also has a solo song called ‘Tunnel’ and Yunho released one recently called ‘Be Alright’, which he co-wrote and produced with Hongjoong. Also, Wooyoung has a dance cover of Logic’s 1-800 song, although I’m not a fan of his music I think Wooyoung did amazing! Hongjoong also has multiple song covers up on their YouTube channel!

San is so talented, and I wish you would’ve watched the bts/making of this performance video because it really showcased just how hard he worked on this, and the hard work really shows in the video itself. He’s not just a dancer, he’s a PERFORMER! Such a talented one too, I swear it’s impossible to take your eyes off him. One of ateez’s best qualities imo is just how theatrical they are, like they were made to perform on STAGES! It’s also why they’re so praised for live performances because it’s where they shine the most. He auditioned with a background in singing, but his dancing was terrible at the start, and improved soooo much over time with his dedication and hard work to the point where he’s now praised as one of the most (if not THE most) talented performers of the 4th gen.
