Now or later?
🕑 Added 2022-11-26 22:34:56 +0000 UTCHey guys the prologue is done!
BUT... I'm still waiting for the custom made sprites.
The person I ordered them from on fiverr seems to have a lot of work to do and says it could take up until the 3rd of December to finish them.
So... I want to know do you want to play the prologue with a random sprite or do you want to wait until the custom mades are done?
I feel like playing with a random sprite takes a lot of the immersion and the ambience is not quite right, but you decide.

I spent so much time thinking about a good name but couldn't come up with something better than "A witchy adventure".. Sabrina the hungry witch sounds better.
DreamEater
This is a good name

How about "Sabrina, the hungry Witch", which works as a reference to an old sitcom called "Sabrina, the teenage witch"?

I thought about "A Witchy Adventure"
TheMonsterWithin
Btw, you already got a name for the game?

Well, if it's a matter of another more week, it's fine.

I know that I'm going to play and replay the game over long periods of time as it is updated, so it doesn't matter to me if the sprites are updated later, I'd still appreciate the game as it is now.

I've waited a few months for this update, I think I can wait another week.

Wait till they are done if you feel it isn't satisfying then domt release. Wait till your ready to release

I suggest playing this first. By the time you are finished with Dwarf Fortress, we will likely be 5-6 updates in.

The only downside is that 3 december is the same date Dwarf Fortress will be released on steam, gonna be hard to choose which one to play first

Quality over quantity!

This is way faster than I expected anyways, so I really don't mind waiting a bit longer. I think waiting for the new sprites to get a more finished first impression is the best call, personally.
