Concept Artwork: Sandworm / Sworm

Today we'll feature another monster concept, this one being part of a Tier V commission. I'm particularly pleased with the finalisation of this idea, as it's a really interesting monster, and also widens up the variety of monsters we have by adding another insect-type to the mix! Without further ado I present to you, the Sandworm!
The Sandworm is a peculiar, diminutive insect-type monster that is roughly the same size as a mudcrab. Many foolish women have underestimated them due to their appearance, but the sandworm, while largely harmless alone, almost always moves in a group of 4-5 at a time.
They bury themselves under soft sand, with only the weird blooms on their heads protruding. These blooms secrete a scent that revolts most males, including other monsters, but draws in female humans with an almost irresistible quality.
Once the would-be victim comes close enough, the sandworms erupt en masse, and work together to bind the victim in place, while one of their number crawls up to the victim's head, latches on, and injects a pacifying substance down their throats to quell them.

Well, yes, this is a pretty insidious monster worm, I especially liked the way they try to hide in the sand, leaving only a flower on top))
