It's ofc entirely up to you and your decision as to what works better for you. For me personally it's just that other people I also follow on Patreon are also thinking about posting elsewhere (fansly, subscribestar.adult) so it gets a little more complicated and messy for me personally, but I completely understand, If you are unhappy with posting on Patreon.

Idk if it's already part of your plan, but I'd probably offer both while Patreon is viable. You could start to migrate people over by advertising discounts or "disallowed" content on Fourthwall to the Patreon users. Then fully move over when you have to or have build up Fourthwall audience.

I had a few thoughts. Foremost, I support your transition to Fourthwall 100%, especially if it means you will be able to make the content you enjoy with less restrictions. Unfortunately, Youtube doesn't support its creators as well as it used to, and it's sad to see that Patreon, the only way for most creators to make a living, is suffering from the same pitfalls. If you were to move to Fourthwall, when do you expect to complete this transition? I say this because it brings to mind that some people who move platforms may be paying extra for the transition, as the date of your new site's launch may fall after the renewal of someone's subscription. However, I imagine this would be a hard problem to solve. I wouldn't be surprised if you had a subscription renewal for your channel every day of the month. It is nice that you are offering a discount and refund though; that is much appreciated. Also, will there be any changes to the subscription costs? Thanks for reaching out to us, and keep up the phenomenal work!

Same questions as everyone else: is there an app version and can I listen to audio without having my screen on/active? To be honest, I only got Patreon and discord because of you - I didn’t know what it was before you 😅 The other subscriptions I have on here haven’t posted in a few good months, so I wonder if they’re having the same issues as you around NSFW content…. 🤔 Regardless, pop off sis - do what’s best for you!

I'd hate for you to risk getting your patron removed or having to restrict the content you want to make to stay on a site that clearly doesn't want you so I'd be happy to move wherever would be best for you. Definitely don't want to be encouraging how patreon is operating by continuing to use them too.

For me moving to fourth wall is easy enough since I only have two Patreon subscriptions. I’d like to mention you’re not the only person on here thinking about moving to another platform. If I were you I’d be trying really hard to contact other big creators on here and attempt to coordinate a move.

You make wonderful points, and I'd go with your gut feeling. Inconsistent policies are despicable. I'd follow you over to a new platform, the only concern I have is if there is an app version. I exclusively use the Patreon app since I tend to fall asleep listening to audios. Regardless, I think you should make the move! You've pointed out a lot of new opportunities that could be very exciting for you as a content creator!

Half the problem is Apple being Apple, so I wouldn't put all the blame on Patreon, but they do have difficulties too. Any creator in NSFW spaces is going to have to regularly migrate to new, smaller platforms as the payment processor illuminati catch on to their existence. Go for it.

I've seen creators move over to that site and have no problems with that. It's very similar to patreon in layout so it shouldn't be too much of a shock for most people I think! Looking forward to the site if/when you do switch

I personally am very happy for you, I am happy that you are moving platforms. I also have the deepest feeling of me not being very happy about you moving platforms in a way because I have difficulty with adjusting to change, but regardless, I am very, very happy for you. And I do think you should move platforms. The only thing is that I probably won’t be a part of it for a while because I am in a situation right now. As soon as I get out I promise I will come back as soon as possible.

100 %! Do it~ I already have like half a dozen Sites I go to for content - YouTube, Nebula, Netflix, Prime Video, Patreon, PH and Apple TV+ (while my free trial lasts). It would not bother me at all for you to switch to Fourthwall. Even though I have never heard of that place - If you say it's dope, then it's dope 😎. The site looks good, but, will there be a dark mode?? 🛐 please xd I am one of the people who bought an annual subscription. You write that you would refund the remaining time - but hasn't Patreon already taken 8 %? Idk, but that's not a great position for you to be in. Is there like a tool that lets you refund through Patreon and get back some of those 8%, or are you just going to have to eat that loss?

I would generally follow creators on their desired platform, especially if we can escape the pain of using Patreon nowadays – for both sides. FourthWall seems to have better integration overall and support for merch, so it feels like a net positive on all fronts. All of that to say, unless they have crazy skeletons in their closet, I wouldn't have a problem with the move! Thank you for asking for our opinions, in any case!

And here I thought Patreon was cool; that’s incredibly disappointing that most people came to Patreon to avoid the strict policing on YouTube, die the hero or live long enough to become the villain and all that. Speaking of someone with a disability, I genuinely hope the new platform is accessible, I also believe that moving would probably be the best idea.

I think it's a great financial decision for everyone. More revenue for Alex and cheaper membership costs for the consumer. Fourth wall has a mobile app and seems user friendly.
