I sometimes record with the box in my closet if I need a quieter atmosphere, but yeah that gets real cramped real fast. Definitely looking to soundproof a small area in my home to get some better outputs!
I use a Zoom H2N recorder for voice and environment recordings but occasionally I have to grab sounds from online for specific SFX.

Hey Alex. Not sure if you'll get this. An old school cheap way to sound proof a room, use egg cartons. Stick em to the walls all over. Guaranteed sound proofing.

Yes! The box works great in treated spaces. Blankets on the walls of my closet do some good dampening but yeah hard to stay in there for long 🥴

Attempting to remember my question but a thick blanket can help with sound instead of the B O X or both for the combined forces.
