Amoreon Disco is about to hit Steam! We need your feedback!
🕑 Added 2017-08-11 21:27:45 +0000 UTC Hi Guys, As promised the mini game/ tech demo Amoreon Nightclub is about to hit the Steam shelves! Before the scene goes onto steam though, we require your feedback to make sure there are no groundbreaking bugs in it!The idea of the scene is as follow: You are in a nightclub and beautiful women / men are dancing around you according to the beat. You can just chill with em or try out the small game we made. Touch the balls, follow the dance moves and try to keep up! (your controllers should follow the hands...)
Movement controls are pretty simple: Point the controller in a direction and hit the left trigger button to go forward.. Hit the left grip button to scale yourself Hit the right grip button to play the next song. You can also make your own playlist by dragging .ogg files into the StreamingAssets folder located in the Data folder of the game.
There will of course be no nudity in it because of steam, but it should give people enough interest to visit our website www.amoreon.com to get more attention out there.
Tell us what you think of the scene in the comments below. Are there any groundbreaking bugs in it? How is the framerate for you guys? Do you have potential quick wins to it? If they're easy to implement / fix, we'll put it in. Else we probably patch them up later. Remember this is an advertisement scene and we don't want to waste too much resources which then cannot be used for the main game Amoreon. You can get the game Here

last weekend i went to a german fetish party who called "KitKat"@cologne we were one of the first people inside and on the dancefloor ...i had to think about your demo release...LoL...it was the same feeling ^-^

It would be nice to have a control so the lights are on, and don't flicker. That way one get get a look of the characters. This is difficult under the circumstances.

And I would leave the player male body out. VR players are not used to see their own body, just hands and wrists. Only few games execute this successfully, and you're not there yet, the body looks odd. Leaving it out won't be disturbing, it will only remove an immersion breaking oddity.

Would you consider some other scenes you have been working on as a backdrop outside the player area? Like a view from the nightclub? Without obvious sex, but suggestive of it. A red light district street maybe? An apartment wall with windows opening on an interesting view? That might be suggestive of there being more and attract more people to Amoreon.

Maybe dance movement can be simplified so it's less frustrating. Arms forward, wide, up, down, whatever, make it more like a simple workout to the beat, just a few basic movements. Also, maybe you can fix the lighting so that the models are a better (or in between flashes longer) visible. The attraction is ultimately that you want to stare at these woman, possible move around them (and call it a game). The darkness makes them a little too hard to see. If you could vary the body types of the woman somewhat, bigger and smaller breasts, thin to a bit filled bodies, it might be appealing to more.

Works on the Vive OK (but I have pretty high end setup). I find the movements too difficult to follow with the controllers. Game-over within 10 seconds. It is however cool you can walk around the scene, but I would use trackpad for movement, it's awkward now.

Its good. Can you make for locomotion based off the joysticks? moving around is difficult

hmm, the only thing I see are Pink and White colors? no real video feed.

Thanks for the feedback! Lapdance will come, but in totally different production we are a part of. Lighting-well, done this way as the chars are extremely low poly versions. So adding light would destroy the immerse.

Fun little scene. Being surrounded by those mocapped dancing girls is really cool. I think that some kind of mocapped private dance or lapdance would be a cool feature for the game. The only criticism I have is the lighting. Frustrating to have those girls right there and being basically unable to see them except for the occasional eyeblink when there's lighting.

Ah yes. Well if you move towards the floor again the giant fingers will get normal again.. but I think there is a pretty easy fix for this one, so we'll fix that one!

Yes it is for real.Conan exile for example has full nudity for male and female.There is also an adult themed game called house party on steam,also with nudity

Great scene. Okay some people could mine, these are more wow...and the rest who will coming soon is more low level....maybe..let in the baground two "bots" maybe a man and a wom en drink something...where you can see how detailed their body talk. But actualy the rest is more than only fine...it is perfect for an advert ^-^

Tested with oculus touch. I think the left grid button for scale yourself doesn't work. And if you move to far away from the dance floor you get giant fingers and they don't scale back.

No bugs for the Vive as far as gameplay. Trying to match my "arms" to the colors was frustrating-making me wonder, "ok, this is it? what's the point?". The arms moved pretty fast and it was hard to see them both at the same time. Maybe have the arms move slower at first?- maybe have the pretty girl in front do what we're supposed to do? Have her face us,, Kind of like we are supposed to do what she is doing (our arms match her arms, have her face us like we are dancing together)? Also i know it is a nightclub, but if you can lighten it up a little bit more, it'll make people see more, and they'll be interested to check out the website. Also maybe you can get a drink and give it to someone.
