GET OUT so was I 😂😂😂 I restarted as a sorcerer because you get Karlach a bit later on as a barbarian, but I redid the Miguel lookalike from my first game as my guardian. No spoilers but I was so fckn happy when he showed up ingame 😍😍😍🥰

I just finished act 1 of baldur's gate (it's awesome) and instantly got that Kar'niss reference! That's one scary dude, I see why you chose him for inspiration!!

That wasn't my focus for this comic and I wanted to let my reader imagine how it would have happened, cause I find it fun to let some things unsaid to let anyone's imagination work. How do you think he got captured?

This means so much 🥺❤ this character doesn't have an easy life 🤧 I was heavily influenced by the drider from baldur's gate 3! I also look at other drivers designs to see what I wanted to keep or not for Miguel's. I am so glad this chapter spoke to you this much! It means a lot 🥺❤

read this so early in my morning and i keep thinking about it because it's basically every verbal essay i give someone about this man encompassed. and just made my poor heart die. also spider miguel feeds into my d&d au brain...he looks like the drider from baldur's gate and it's sort of PERFECT. so just good food. this truly made my brain activate on so many levels so like thank you so much

Messiah last chapter was close to my limit too. I keep reading this story thanks to the hurt/comfort tag, otherwise this fic would be too hard to read if I didn't have the promise of something nice for Miles and (especially) Miguel. I hope their hell journey will be concluded soon and then we can have (hopefully) multiple chapters of comfort 😭 I am very glad you like it!! His backstory is tragic but sadly realistic on some parts! I didnt add all the characters I wanted but I had to write lore beforehand (It a mix with his comic lore and my own HC), so maybe it would be for another angst comic! :) I hope you will like the comfort I am cooking ❤

I'm usually more into the physical whump (though the last Messiah chapter is on the edge on what I can take), but this hurts so wonderfully. Migs is just destined for the torture of the mind with his tragic backstory and you did it perfectly! Love the way the thoughts overlap and flow into each other. I am curious though what ideas you scrapped :D Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️
