제가 환경요소를 제작할땐 항상 중점적으로 보는 요소는 움직일 것인가, 어떻게 움직일 것인가 입니다.
첫번째로 움직여야 할 것과 아닌것을 나누고, 화면 상에서 적절하게 배분하고, 다 만든 뒤에 의도와 조금 다르거나 허전하면 특수효과등을 이용해 해결하지요.
그중에서 특히 애니메이션 작업을 할 때 크기가 작으면 어느정도 전부 직접 그리는 것으로 해결하지만, 규모가 커지면 그러지 못하는 경우가 많습니다.
노가다 작업에 너무 많은 시간을 할애해야 하기 때문이지요.
따라서, 작업시 미리 만들어둔 프리셋을 이용하는 것을 선호합니다. 이전 작업 과정 포스팅에서도 특히 나무, 구름 등의 요소들은 프리셋을 사용하는 것을 많이 소개했었습니다.
이번에도 프리셋 작업에 대한 내용입니다.

First, i divide the things that need to be animated and the things that are not, and i distribute them properly on the screen, and once we're done, i use VFX, etc. to solve them.
Among them, if the size is small especially when working on animation, it is solved by drawing them all by themselves, but it is often not possible to do so when the scale grows.
Because I have to spend too much time for labouring work.
Therefore, we prefer to use pre-made presets when working. In the previous work process posting, the elements, especially trees, clouds, etc., introduced a lot of presets.
It's about preset work again.
이전 포스팅 중, Elven forestmaker wallpaper 제작시 사용했던 프리셋입니다.
생동감 있는 나무 표현을 위해 필요한 프리셋 작업에 대한 튜토리얼이 있었는데 이번에도 같은 방식을 사용하려고 하다가 뭔가 지루한 느낌이 들어서 약간 다른 방식으로 선회했습니다.
// This is the preset that I used when I made the Elven Forestmaker wallpaper during my previous posting.
There was a tutorial on the preset work I needed to do for the lively tree representation in the posting, and this time I was trying to use the same method, but I felt something was boring, so I turned around in a slightly different.
일단 1차적으로 완성된 배경입니다. 여기서 나무와 덤불 부분에 프리셋 작업을 통해 효과를 줄 것입니다.
// This is the primary background. Here, I will give effects to the wood and bush parts through preset work.
나무가 바람에 흩날려서 이파리가 물결치며 넘어가는 것을 표현하는 것에 중점을 두었습니다.
각 효과가 뭉쳐져 어떻게 활용되는지에 대해 집중해주세요.
나무의 각 명암에 맞는 색상으로 변경하여 복사하고, 지루하지 않게 프레임을 조정하여 붙여넣습니다.
// The focus was on expressing how trees were scattered in the wind and the leaves were wavy.
Please focus on how each effect is used together.
Change the color to match each shade of the tree, copy it, and adjust and paste the frame so that it is not boring.
또한, 지저분해지는 상황을 방지하기 위해 나무 이파리 바깥 1pixel 부분까지 선택하여 지워줍시다. 깔끔하게 표현됩니다.
// Also, let's clean off the outer 1pixel part to prevent messy expressions. It's neatly expressed.
이렇게 바람에 따라 이파리가 파도치는 느낌의 VFX가 완성되었습니다.
// So, VFX looks like a leaf waves along the wind.
이제 여기에 햇빛과 오버레이를 포함한 추가 VFX 작업을 통해 완성합니다.
// I'm done here with additional VFX work, including sunlight and overlays.
이렇게 완성하고 포스팅을 하려는데, 문득 든 생각이 있습니다. Elven forestmaker에서 사용했던 효과와 합치면 어떤 느낌일까?

이제 여기에 이번에 사용한 효과를 붙여넣습니다.

완성! 상당히 만족스럽네요. 조금 반복되는 느낌을 줄여서 바리에이션을 만들면 더 만족스러운 결과물이 나올 것 같습니다.
// Done! I'm very satisfied. If you reduce the repetitive feeling and create a variation, you will get a more satisfying result.
어떠셨나요? 환경 요소에 애니메이션을 넣는 방법은 까다롭지만, 알고나면 크게 어려운 요소가 없습니다.
// How was it? It's tricky to animated environment, but once you know how, it's not that difficult.
단지, 처음 시도할때 많은 시간과, 시행착오를 필요로 한다는 점이 단점입니다.
// The only downside is that it takes a lot of time, and trial and error when you try for the first time.
