W.I.P. Seaside Mystery & The Twist status
🕑 Added 2021-09-08 18:41:00 +0000 UTCThe customization system in Seaside Mystery has received a huge update!
Now the outfits are separated into:
Top Wear: shirts, bras, etc.
Bottom Wear: Pants, panties, skirts
Fullbody wear: Dresses, high cut swimsuits, other clothing that covers legs and torso at the same time.
Under Wear: Stockings, garter belts and other similar clothing.
Each category can be customized individually and all categories can be mixed together. For example now you can combine pants with any shirt/bra and vice versa. Only full body wear has exception, you cannot put shirt on top of the dress, but some combinations will be possible, like putting pants on full body swimsuit.
Each zone now has more customization options. Besides the ones that already been in the game, anisotropy, fresnel controls has been added. All of that will allow to achieve pretty cool effects, like velvet, nylon, etc.
Also now clothes can have glowing effects, this will be controlled by emission tab.
I spend quite a chunk of time on this system, but it needs to be done at the early stage of the game development (lesson learned on The Twist :)
The current status of The Twist 0.46:
The additional artwork: ~100%.
Posing and animations: ~100%.
Dialogs: ~95%
Scripting-Setting up scenes: ~90%
If no force majeure occurs The Twist 0.46 beta should be ready on the weekend.
