The Brat, Chapter 6

Chapter 6
Two days later, Eloise was sitting with Asher in the doctor's office, feeling very annoyed. For one thing, her cute-as-fuck Prada Gabardine skirt was tight as hell on her waist, and she had literally just gotten this thing like a week ago...in anticipation of getting bigger, of course...but she hadn’t thought she’d be getting THIS big so quickly. It wasn’t that she didn't like being this big – from her perspective, it was actually pretty freaking awesome, just because of all the looks she got. She always stared straight back at the little people, as if to say: ‘'Yeah, I'm physically superior to you, so what?'
But the annoying part was the clothes never fitting. Couldn’t they make clothes for people undergoing this treatment!? Like, seriously, hello?? Oh and food...she was literally famished all the time, which didn’t feel great since she could never really get satisfied. Eloise figured that she needed to get her cooks to start splurging on the high-end proteins. She didn’t care how much it cost, or how hard they had to work to find them. She deserved to be fed. And not just fed – WELL fed.
Eloise crossed her arms under her breasts and sighed out. They had already been in this fucking waiting room like 5 minutes...really, how long do they expect her to wait!? Didn’t they know that she was undergoing a rare, expensive treatment, and that she was probably in, like, the top 1% special group that would need that extra attention? What were they doing back there…curing colds!? She had a sense of urgency here! She needed to know what was really going on with her body! Yes, Asher was there with her, trying to console and comfort her, but she was in one of those moods, and he was just gonna have to deal with it.
"Guhhhh how much longerrrr?" she sighed out, not caring who heard.
Asher was sitting next to her, in one of the chairs directly across from her. The way her leg was kicking from impatience was sending little thuds through the floor over to him. Having size 13 women's would do that, apparently. They had realized that her feet were bigger than his today, and Asher was actually surprised that it had taken this long for that to happen. He could tell that she wasn't just annoyed, but hungry...and uncomfortable. The chair wasn't small, but given her body growing all over, it looked a bit smaller than she might have liked.
"You gotta be patient, babe," Asher said gently, putting a hand on her knee. The warmth of her body radiated through his hand, and her leg’s movement almost kicked his hand off. There was no way around it...she was big now. Clearly bigger than him. Part of Asher knew that, if Eloise had wanted to, she could have probably held him down...easily. He didn't bring it up, though, partially in fear that she would.
"It's only been like 5 minutes since they sat us in here," Asher continued, trying to keep her in a manageable mood. "We're going to go shopping after this, remember? But first they just need to make sure everything is in order, you know?"
Eloise was chewing on her tongue, since she had forgotten her gum before they left...her head had just been everywhere recently. She actually missed how things were a few weeks before, when she felt like she was in control of everything, and when she didn't feel like she had to haul her ass to the freaking doctor's office all the time just to get checked up on, or whatever they called it. She heard what Asher was saying, but it didn't make her feel any better. She caught a woman and her daughter looking at her from across the room, and she just stared hard at them until they looked away.
‘That's what I thought,’ Eloise thought, beginning to internally smolder. ‘Stare at the big bitch until she stares back at you...couldn't handle the eye contact, of course. Typical tiny people behavior.’
It was beginning to feel like the natural thing, that Eloise was getting this tall and big. Sure, all the annoying bullshit was happening as a result, but really...if she had to take one or the other, she would take dealing with the bullshit just to be this huge. No question.
‘There, that's a good way to look at it, right?’ she thought, bouncing her leg. ‘It's like Asher and Daddy are always telling me…oh geez, two peas in a pod, those two…about having a better attitude or looking at things a different way, or whatever psychology tricks they're talking about.’
But even though she had briefly talked herself into a better mood, bouncing her leg like she was, Eloise suddenly noticed that her pink boots had started to feel uncomfortably tight on her feet. She was still in a good mood…or, at least, a better mood than she had been in a few minutes before, but sore feet were a red line for her. She wasn’t just going to sit there and tolerate it in silence.
"My boots are tight," she whined at Asher, reaching her left boot up and planting it unceremoniously in his lap. "Can you take them off and massage my feet?"
Even though she was still complaining, just staring down those little people over there had made her feel better...plus reminding herself that she actually LIKED what was happening to her.
‘I mean…look at my fat ass,’ she thought to herself, as Asher squirmed uncomfortably with her boot in his lap. ‘It totally fills this chair I'm in! I love that...that idea of FILLING something I didn't fill before, something Asher CAN'T fill...it makes me feel good.’
Asher looked down at Eloise’s big boot in his lap…the pink boots she had bought just a few days before. She had insisted on wearing them today, and he couldn't convince her otherwise.
'They go so well with my fit, though!' is what she had said, and Asher couldn't deny that. But the boots had been snug when she put them on, and, at the rate Eloise was growing, they were probably even tighter now. Asher could forget at times that she was growing consistently throughout the day, but it was becoming a bit more noticeable now, especially now that she was quite clearly taller than him.
"Babe, I'm not gonna do that,” Asher began gently, taking her boot off his lap and dropping it back down towards the floor. Eloise allowed it to fall with a heavy clomp. “Not here. When we get home – nice, long foot massage, I promise."
Asher looked down and saw what seemed to be her toes pushing up against the tops of her boots. These boots were basically his size in women’s...and she was pushing them to the limit. It was funny though, to Asher...just the way she had let her boot fall back onto the floor, and how she had ignored him and gone on with whatever she was thinking about. Asher had been about to keep talking when a nurse walked in announcing, "Eloise Beauchamp?" asking for them to come in.
"See, what did I say...patience..." Asher remarked, smiling as he got up and grabbed her bag for her.
Eloise immediately stood up, annoyed that Asher was being all self-righteous, and stormed by him, taking long strides as she went into the office past the nurse. She hadn't brought him with her to lecture her...shit! But finally the nurse had come, thank GOD! She had been about to rip her shoes off, plop her big-ass feet straight in Asher’s lap, and wiggle her toes until he HAD to rub them.
‘Haha what would that lady and her daughter have thought then?’ Eloise mused, already catching up the nurse with her long strides. ‘They would probably disapprove...no sexy acts in the waiting room. Well guess what? I don't give a fuck what they think, or anyone else, for that matter. I'm only here to find out what's really up with my treatment. It's nice to see they've finally decided to make some space for me.’
The nurse sat Eloise down on a larger-than-average table in the office, and Asher, following in tow with her bag, sat in the chair by the door. The nurse had started to say something about how Dr. Zeigler would be in shortly to see her, and Eloise felt her impatience flare up again, unable to contain herself.
"We're waiting AGAIN, just in a different room!?” she burst out, “Are you being serious right now??"
The nurse was pretty short...tiny from Eloise’s perspective, maybe like 5'2 or something...and she looked surprised. But Eloise didn’t care – as far as she was concerned, they really needed to learn how to treat her right.
A few seconds before, when Eloise had pushed past Asher in the hallway, he could tell that he had struck a nerve, but it was fine. She was hungry; she was annoyed; he was used to it. And when she had sat on the table, Asher noticed just how comical it looked. The table itself had been quite large compared to her when she had first come here…and even a week ago it would have looked normal...but now, her legs were almost touching the ground, even with how high the table was. The poor nurse was looking way up to Eloise as she let out her frustration. It was funny for Asher to think that this woman was actually taller than Eloise before this whole thing started. The nurse began apologizing for a moment, but then, almost immediately after the uproar began, the doctor came striding in.
"Miss Beauchamp, I'm sorry,” Dr. Zeigler said warmly, immediately diffusing the situation, “I know you've been waiting for quite some time. Nurse, that is fine, thank you…” – allowing the frazzled nurse to leave, before continuing, his eyebrows going up as he surveyed Eloise’s body – "My goodness, the growth hasn’t let up, has it!?” Asher could tell that Dr. Zeigler was surprised by how much she had grown, which wasn't exactly making him confident that he knew what to do to help her out.
‘Finally this dude comes in,’ thought Eloise, relaxing a bit from her tirade against the retreating nurse, ‘Took him long enough…’
But now that Dr. Zeigler was there, and jumping straight into her growth, she kinda realized that she liked hearing him talk about how big she’d gotten.
“Yeah, it's been more and more every day!” she exclaimed, not bothering to hide the excitement in her voice. She glanced down at Asher, smiling, all her past annoyances forgotten; that's just the way she was – she hopped from one emotion to the next. It was up to everyone else to try and keep up, and it wasn’t her problem if they couldn’t.
“Just a few days ago I realized I was taller than Asher,” Eloise continued energetically, “And he's like 6 feet tall! And now, haha…now he's like a midget compared to me!"
Dr. Ziegler started chuckling, maybe at her joke. "Heheheh, wellll...she's passed you, huh?" he asked Asher, now trying to make small talk with him, "But I see she still has you carry her bags!"
Holding the bag, Asher looked down at it then back to Dr. Zeigler. "Yeah...she's well past me now…how tall were you this morning babe? 6'4.5 or something?" Asher said, ignoring the comment about holding the bag. He was being a gentleman, after all – it wasn’t like he had to do it. The midget comment, however, had gotten to him a bit...he was a pretty tall guy, at least he usually felt like he was. 6’0 wasn’t short....though from Eloise’s perspective now…
"Have you gotten any further along in figuring out how much more, you know…she’ll grow?" Asher asked, trying to get back to the point of the visit.
"Welll..." Dr. Ziegler mused, stroking his chin as his eyes continued to go slowly up and down Eloise’s body, "That...uhm, that remains to be seen. Though I have to say, Asher...and Miss Eloise...that your, uh, well...the RATE of your growth, if it turns out to be as regular and rhythmic as it seems, then that would be a....and I warn you, there's no easy way to say this, and I'm putting it to you plainly, a STRONG indicator that you're among that unlucky one percent of patients who experience the exponential growth during treatment. But we'll need to run a number of tests before we can say so for sure."
Dr. Ziegler glanced nervously over at Eloise, and she just couldn’t help it – she burst out laughing. This guy was ridiculous! What was he, breaking cancer news to her or something!?
"Hahahaha wowwwww, Ziegler!" she laughed, "The look on your face! Holy shit, it's like you're telling me I've got like 2 months to live! Are you kidding?! This is GREAT news! See, Asher?! It's just what I was saying before! Of COURSE I'm in the one percent! How could it be any other way?"
In her excitement, Eloise stood straight up, hopping off the table, and, wearing her Choos, was about 6'6, and Ziegler, rather short, was hovering around 5'7, short little guy...and Eloise felt a surge of pleasure course through her in reaction to his surprised expression. It was clear that he certainly hadn’t expected her to be THIS big! He even took a step back, with his mouth slightly open.
‘God, this is a rush,’ thought Eloise, her nostrils flaring, ‘THIS is what I came here for!’
For a moment, Asher was just listening...he had had a strong feeling about where this whole growth-thing was going to go, but, hearing Dr. Zeigler’s words, he couldn't believe that it was actually true.
"So...what does that mean?" Asher started to ask, but Eloise had already jumped up, sending a tremor through the whole office. Seeing her next to Zeigler, Asher hadn’t even registered just how short of a guy he was...he remembered Eloise mentioning at one point that she had passed him in height, but Asher hadn’t realized...Jesus she made him look like an absolute shrimp...and Asher couldn’t help but wonder, at this rate, was HE going to start looking like that soon? The top of Zeigler’s head was barely above her shoulders, if that.
As Asher sat there and pondered, Eloise spread her arms out wide, doing the "come on" motion with both hands as she rocked forward eagerly in her boots.
"All right, so let's go!” she exclaimed impatiently, “What tests do you gotta run on me? Get my height, weight, right? What else? You need a blood test? Fine, I'll give you a blood test. Whatever you need, just come on, come on, I wanna get this show on the roadddd!"
Dr. Ziegler looked a bit stupefied, which just made Eloise think this was all the more hilarious. "Uhm, okay, so let's get your full height and weight first, Miss Eloise," he managed to say, recovering himself as he ushered her over to the corner, "And after that, uhm, yes, I'll need a blood and urine sample, it's good of you to be so accommoda–"
"A URINE sample!?" she interrupted, stopping dead. "Gross! How does that even, like, work? I gotta pee in a cup or something!?"
But then she suddenly grinned mischievously, making it clear that she was just joking, and looked back at Asher, winking. Truth be told, Eloise really did think it was gross to pee in a cup...but she was in a VERY good mood now and was down to do pretty much anything.
“Eheh…y-yes, peeing in a cup…And...and Miss Eloise?" Dr. Ziegler continued, as she stepped on the scale, "I don't mean to bring you down or burst your bubble, but...if you ARE in that selective 1% bracket, I hope you understand that it's going to be a long road of heavy treatments and lifestyle changes that you can't even begin to –"
"Ohhhh LOOK!" Eloise cried, ignoring whatever boring stuff he was saying as the number came up on the scale, "Asher, oh my godddd! It says I weigh 239.8!” She slapped her ass with both hands. “Damnnnn these curves are real, aren't they?”
Asher’s eyes opened wide when he heard the number. That was almost 60 pounds more than him, Jesus...she must have outweighed him when she was just barely taller than him…
“Wow, yeah, that's incredible..." he said, hardly knowing what to think. But Dr. Ziegler was speaking again:
"Yes, it’s typical that weight increases faster than height, at least at first. It's a bit hard to explain, square cube law, I won't bore you...but there is a lot we will need to do to make sure you are taken care of, Eloise. I know your financial situation is much more accommodating than many others, but that doesn't change the fact that…”
But as Dr. Zeigler continued to talk, Asher could tell that it was going on deaf ears. Eloise didn't care...she had WANTED this...she WANTED to be bigger…
And then, another minute later, "6'4.9"..." Zeigler announced, as Asher looked at where the height rod had landed after Eloise had taken her boots off. She had grown since they had measured that morning.
Eloise stepped off the scale, beaming, and Asher was looking back up at her...she knew that he was a little embarrassed by all of her antics, but she could see behind his look – he adored her, and all her quirks. It's what made her unique – and he knew it. And then, as she looked closer, she thought she could detect something else behind his eyes. He was, like, amazed that she was taking the news like this – even though he had expected it, it still blew him away how she could LOVE getting bigger so much.
‘I think he’s kinda in awe of me because of it,’ Eloise thought, staring down at him, ‘Well, that and the fact that I'm now basically 5 inches taller and 60 pounds heavier than him.’
She felt a warm sense of happiness wash over her, and gratitude for Asher being there with her to see it. She stepped forward, bent down, grabbed his face in her big hands, and pulled him up to her, kissing him straight on the mouth and shutting her eyes tightly as she did it. And she held him there for a good 2 seconds or so. This wasn't just an appreciation kiss – it was ROMANTIC. Then Dr. Ziegler, awkwardly, and rather adorably, interrupted the moment with, "Uhm...heh, okay now...right...so...that urine sample?"
Three days later, Eloise and Asher were just finishing up eating at Nobu, a nice restaurant she liked to take him to every few weeks or so. This time was a little different than last time, which had been a few weeks ago. To start with, she ate three main course meals, in addition to appetizers and dessert, while Asher could only manage one main course and half of a dessert…the other half which she ate, of course. They had gone shopping the previous day, and she was wearing an absolutely divine pair of Prada Stretch black jeans that fit her PERFECTLY, plus they would be able to stretch even more when she got bigger, which, of course, she would. Plus she positively LOVED her top, a bright red House of CB Laraine Plunge Neck crop blouse that reeeeally showed off her curves in a new way. Everyone had been staring at them ever since they got there, which Eloise couldn’t get enough of. That, and those nice Christian Louboutin velvet heels she was wearing, which made her about 6'10...she had to duck under the door on the way in!
Eloise had been refreshing her email over and over every minute for like the last hour or so, waiting for her test results.
“God, when are they gonna post them?" she complained, sighing. “They SAID it would be today....”
Asher wasn't exactly a fan of coming to Nobu. In his mind, there were WAYYYY better sushi spots that weren't anywhere near as expensive…but again, it really wasn't about the sushi at this place, but more the “people seeing.” And damn it if people weren't seeing Eloise tonight. She looked HOT...like, hotter than Asher had ever seen her, and when she wore those heels, no one even came close to matching her...not that they would have without them, anyway. The empty plates on her side of the table were a testament to how this was going...and, if anything, Asher thought that all the empty plates gave them the answer better than any test results would.
“Babe, we'll find out," he said reassuringly, just as a waiter was coming by to grab a few of the empties, “Do you…uh, do you want anything else before I pay?" The waiter's eyebrows raised at Asher’s question, not realizing just how much Eloise had eaten...and could still eat.
"Oooooo, oooo, get me another couple pieces of that Miso Cheesecake!?" Eloise grinned up at the waiter, “Ugh, and tell the chefs everything was greeeeat....I mean, almost everything. The grilled salmon anticucho was a little overdone...not a lot, okay, but a little...I noticed it. Just let them know. But everything else. Mmmm!"
The bracelets sang out on her full arm as she brought her fingers to her lips and kissed them. The waiter nodded and said something about "informing promptly" or whatever, but Eloise had made her point to him, and now she was focused back on Asher. She refreshed the page on her phone again. Nothing. She put her phone down and sighed...then started playing with Asher’s foot under the table. The table was big enough to where she could play with his feet, but if he tried to return the favor, she could pull them away, out of his reach! She had been playing this game with him on and off the whole time they had been there. Was he tired of it? Probably. But she wasn't!
“Dya think I'm gonna be in the 1%?”she asked him suddenly, folding her arms across the table as she peered in at him. It was amazing, just leaning like this, how much bigger she felt than him, than everyone. She literally towered above everyone in this restaurant...and how much had she weighed the other day? 270!?
“And I mean it, Asher,” she added meaningfully. “Be honest.”
"Well, you know..." Asher took a bit to think about his answer. Her velvet shoe rubbing up against him felt nice, even if it was a little pointy. “I mean, if I had to guess...I think it would be that you're definitely in a rare group...the .001% of people...I don't know, but..."
He WANTED her to be part of that group...Asher was realizing, as he droned on...he WANTED her to get bigger. The way she looked down on him, even while they were sitting now...the way she seemed to command the table...Asher wanted that. But, at the same time, was he really thinking straight!? Was he truly thinking about how far this could go!? Would she even be able to use a table if this kept on??
“I think you are, if I'm being honest…” he blurted out, just as he heard her phone ding.
There was no way that this kind of perfect timing could go to waste – Eloise quickly whisked her phone up off the table, opened it, refreshed the page, and....she saw it right there, in ridiculous red letters on the email, like it was some kind of freaking disease:
"Confirmed positive for PTI-APG (pituitary-treatment-induced accelerated proportional gigantism). Contact healthcare provider immediately to begin prompt care."
All the big word mumbo-jumbo was beside the point; Eloise knew what it meant. She took a sharp intake of breath and stared wide-eyed at Asher across the table, her face breaking into a huge grin.
“YESSSS!” she yelled out, not caring how loud she was, and stood straight up, her bracelets jingling as she raised her arms in the air triumphantly. “YES! Hahaha, you KNEW I was, Asher! You KNEW it! Oh my GODDD! I can't wait! I'm just gonna get bigger and bigger and BIGGER!"
Her voice had intensified as she rose, almost kneeing the table as she did. Everyone around them stared, having no idea what Eloise was talking about...well, except that she was proclaiming she was going to get bigger and BIGGER...It didn't feel real to Asher. It didn't feel like it could actually be true. But it was true. He looked at her phone on the table, the big red letters facing him. So that was what they were calling it? He hadn’t realized that was how the treatment was working. “Proportional” was a weird one...did that mean that she was going to keep growing proportionally, keep getting bigger and bigger…all over?
"I-I don't know whether to say congrats or 'oh man what are we going to do?'" Asher laughed up at Eloise as she was still celebrating. The waiter came by with the cheesecake and Asher gave him the card...he was ready for them to get home.
Eloise ate the cheesecake slices in three bites – she was so excited to tell everyone at home about the good news, and as they stood up to leave the restaurant, she stared back at all the restaurant patrons and employees who were watching them go. It was everyone – girls, boys, men and women, kids...everyone was looking at her. And she was just soaking it up. She took his arm in hers, playing the dominant role for fun, and making sure to eye all the dudes staring at her, with her looking back at them as if to say, 'Yeah, you wish you could be this guy, don't you? Tough luck!’
She was so absorbed in eying everyone that she barely had time to notice the top of the doorway coming straight at her face, and she literally had to duck real quick just to avoid bashing her face into the top of the frame!
‘Wow…and after all that mean-mugging!’ laughed Eloise to herself, flipping her hair as she came up above the door frame on the other side, ‘That would've been embarrassing!’ But she had good reflexes, and managed to avoid it. A minute later Asher was driving her home, with her legs all scrunched up in the passenger side, even though the seat was all the way back. She was positively brimming with excitement – Asher could almost feel the enormity of her energy shaking the car as she turned to him, her eyes wide and shining.
“Ohhhhh man, Asher....” she breathed, her chest going up and down as she stretched out her top, the top of her head pressing into the ceiling, “Whadya think Daddy's gonna say?! The cooks? Sharon...wow...they're all gonna totally freak!”

I like that Asher is finally admitting to himself that he’s enjoying it, too. I love her need to compare herself to everyone and everything, and I’m starting to enjoy that “little people” mental dynamic she’s developing. How much will she care about those little people if they annoy her?

Great chapter - she’s kind of adorable, in her own way. Sounds like she’s going to love how much all the “little people” start seeing her different as she gets larger and larger.
