Willow is so open with her feelings I can’t picture her dropping Iris hints. And she does love Iris, but I’m not sure it’s distinct from the love she seems to feel for everyone she meets.

I commented quite a while back, the last conversation we saw between Willow and Iris was when Iris is asking for permission to sleep in Willow's room (again), and Willow says to Iris, "I always say yes." My interpretation of that was very much like "As you wish." in 'The Princess Bride'. (Or you could also reasonably conclude that Willow is dropping some pretty strong hints for Iris, and Iris is completely missing them.)

@Anton I agree! Watching these goobers actually start making good decisions that leads to smoochin'! It's been fun watching Marten, Faye and Dora all find their special someone. All new characters that we didn't know how they would fit, or if they would. The Faye/Bubbles ship is the one I was the most hyped for, in all of my webcomic journeys.

Yes, I see that as having a high sensitivity to the BC parts of NBC warfare. Mostly as a safety thing because she doesn't have to mask up like people do and can continuously monitor air quality until it's safe for humans, then go decontaminate. Source: I was Army during the Cold War and had to do frequent drills, sometimes with teargas substitution for other chemical agents.

I don't know if there is any way to figure out how many Punchbots there are, unless Jeph deigns to inform us. I hope everyone will excuse this extreme digression, but I was going through the archive (again!), and one panel towards the end of the Corpse Witch arc piqued my curiosity. When Yay is (are?) tying up the loose ends, they give Punchbot a suggestion for setting up a legal fight organisation which seems to excite him, as he's tired of being a CPA. In the panel you can see a partial view of his office door which appears to have the CPA firms' name on it. It looks like Punchbot 's name is on the door at least twice. My question is: Does anyone know if there are multiple AIs in the comic named Punchbot who are also CPAs? Also, one further thought, wouldn't it be unfortunate for a CPA to have dicks drawn all over his head, particularly if he had many human clients?

Celsius is still Centigrade in my head. We used Rankine instead of Kelvin. When the UK switched from fryingheat (Fahrenheit), the new numbers didn't mean anything to most people. We were given this rhyme : - 5 & 10 & 21 Winter, Spring, and Summer Sun. Then I moved to Oz - From Maritime Temperate to Continental Extreme - and 40°+ summers.

Aw yeah that's the stuff, love me some AI lore! I remember wondering at the time whether Bubbles' superior senses were shared by all AI or if it was a feature of her military chassis. Given how other robots react to smelling tea I think it's safe to say the olfactory sensitivity is widely available, but I'm still curious about sight and hearing. The only AI aside from Bubbles that I can recall mentioning superhuman senses are Yay and Moray, neither of whom are using anything resembling civilian hardware.
