Then Hannelore started talking to her, and basically started interrogating her about her intentions regarding Sven. Okay, we knew all along that Hannelore's intentions were innocent, but you can't really blame Anh for feeling a little irritated by all that. And now she knows more of the facts, she's being perfectly polite to Hanners.

So according to the website “Behind the Name” Anh is a Sino-Vietnamese name which is used in every gender (male, female, neutral) with a variety of meaning from floral (flower, petal) to heroic qualities (brave, hero). Not impossible. Hanners's ability to tolerate a hug like that shows she's making progress with physical contact. And "goobers" or not, they are both highly intelligent, so there isn't a mismatch there. Furthermore, they actually like each other. Hanners certainly has the characteristics she listed in #5413, and their opposite problems with sexuality might itself produce attraction.
