Teen Goth ain't got nothing on Zombie cyclists. I was literally killed 2001-08-31 01:19. Then I was treated disrespectfully as they were putting me in the body bag so I complained about the rough treatment. Only thing I could feel at the time was the broken left hip, so I yelled "I broke the upper end of my femur" over and over until I passed out again, which got me jostled even worse. This was the day I discovered I can talk while unconscious as I gave an address from my senior year in High School (the year after teh youngest graduated from high school), and my parents' phone number in another state, and then started telling a joke about did anyone get the number of the truck that hit me because the buses stopped running at 2200... and that was when I regained consciousness and started complaining about my hip hurting again. If my life was a book nobody would buy it...

We know that Sam was already voluntarily hanging out with the unpopular kids (Emmett and the others at their table), so I doubt there's much that bullies could suddenly do to get to her. (Bearing in mind it's only been a few weeks since we last saw Sam). I think it's just an onset of hormones or maybe she found a death metal singer to idolise.

Glad to see Sam still has that energy in her and isn't full misery goth. Does make me wonder why she's gone goth in that case though? I could understand if it was just for the fashion, but she seems to be trying to commit to the full "doom and gloom" aspect. We probably won't get much detail on this anytime soon (if at all), but here's hoping there's at least a mini-arc coming up to explain when there's time for it!
