I’m not sure where the blame is. She informed Moray that her actions, however well intentioned have caused a negative outcome. She also apologised to Moray for being stuck in the middle of this because the Director did not consider the consequences of reaching out to Yay in this manner. She also acknowledged in a tongue-in-cheek way that she has no idea what else Moray may have been instructed to do by the director that could cause problems and told her to go to sleep. I’ve had toxic bosses and unfunny bosses and toxic unfunny bosses, I wish I had bosses like Claire.

Hard to say. Certainly the experience seems to vary. For example Roko has had some extremely vivid dreams, whereas Bubbles never remembers hers and isn't sure if she has them at all. Does Moray....Need to sleep? Or rather, does she even need to be recharged? Can she just Go On forever until she changes her mind?? Other AIs tend to go into sleep mode while charging, but we also know they don't Have to sleep to charge, though it does make the process go faster. But as usual, Moray works on such a different level - she doesn't appear to need to plug into something and with her goo chamber bath thing, I didn't read that as "sleeping" more like... a full body hydration kinda deal. Keep all the goo to be goo-ing. There also was the time High Claire pranked Sober Claire by having Moray sleep in their bed, but she was awake by the time Claire was, so it is possible she didn't "need" to sleep/recharge. (I can see Moray being too excited to shut down if it wasn't necessary.) And this is purely mechanical, I know there are a lot of reasons To enjoy sleeping even if it's not necessary at the moment.
