Nah, she's her own person! She's even different than the other Morays, in that she didn't want to be reabsorbed. She has different pronouns than the Director, and if she were basically the same, the Director wouldn't need Morays for communication. The Director is probably more like a parent, although obviously the relationship is more complex, what with the possibility of reabsorbtions and whatnot.
